Weight Watchers - 4th week of May, 2011

Good morning ladies,

Down a bit...up a bit....but the overall trend is good.

Worked outside all day yesterday. Kept to my small meals. Having a little trouble tracking but that's temporary due to a lot going on at once.

I am going to take a leave of absence from this check in. I'm mostly a lurker rather than a poster and I'd like to leave it to the more active members.

Shereta, maybe you could take over the Sunday new thread?

I'd like to check in on the check in from time to time though.

Happy Sunday, All. No workout today since it's my planned day off. However, I do have plenty of laundry,shopping and cleaning to do that will account for something.

Suzanne, I will honor your request and start it up next Sunday. I will be out of town, but I'll have access to a computer so, I'll get it going first thing Sunday morning. Please post often and help keep up motivated and to report your progress as well. Whenever you're ready to jump back in just grab it.

I had 20 wps left for this week, but I just finished dinner which included dessert. I'm giving them up for that.

Hi All,

I made myself get on the scale the other day and have logged my weight and my food on the WW site. I spent two days at a conference where they provided all the food. I did the best I could considering.

Today my workout was GS Biceps, GS Triceps, JM BFBM, Abs from Power Hour and Leaner Legs. I tend to do the same w/o's-my favorites, so I did this mish mosh instead.

Shereta-you have a busy day planned! My weekends usually end up that way too. Glad you are here to keep us all motivated!

Suzanne-I enjoy reading your posts, but understand. Pop in whenever you like, we would love to hear from you.
 
Hey everyone, I'd been sick all week plus working long hours so wasnt up for posting much. I didnt workout at all or track points last week and my diet has been waaay off. This week will be busy again as I've got family coming in to visit. I need to catch up on all the posts here, as I see we have a newcomer as well....geez, I feel like I've been gone at least a month lol.

Anyway, off to do laundry....

Hope to post more this week as well as fit in a few workouts.
 
Good Evening Everyone.

On Saturday I did D24, both hi and low HiiT from Intensity and some standing oblique work ala Tracy Effinger/Squeeze Stronger.

Today I did a cardio mish mosh-
Step Moves combos only (30 mins)
Circuit Blast cardio only premix (23 mins)
MMA Boxing upper body blitzes followed by combos 1&2 (15 mins)
Travel Fit abs + stretch (10-15 mins)

As for eats I was very good y'day except I got a craving for icecream that I decided to act on which involved going out to Friendly's with the family for dessert and 13 WW point later...:eek: It's ok though b/c by the time I logged this morning's work out I got back the WP's I had used plus I earned 3 additional AP's! Ofcourse I blew them all over again plus MORE this afternoon at my MIL's where we went for my SIL's B'day dinner.:rolleyes: BBQ! YUM! I had a small cheeseburger, a hotdog, a little mac n cheese, some baked beans and a piece of (unfrosted) chocolate cake with cool whip and strawberries on top. I logged it in WW when I got home and I have some work ahead of me this week but I think I'll be ok. ;) I've managed all month so far. This week should be no different...I hope!:eek:

Guess that's all for now...be back in the morning from work!:cool:
 
Morning.

I didn't fall asleep until after midnight last night and was up at 4:45 so you can imagine how I'm feeling right now. :(

This morning was supposed to be D22 (C/S/T) but I was starting my work out late as it was and knew having to set up the tower would only make me later so I did just shoulders and tri's and ending having just enough time afterwards for KCM's TLC Cardio Express (15 mins). :)

Guess that's about all for now. I am going to lapse into a coma at my desk now but I'll be back later!:p
 
Good Day, Everyone. Today's workout was the Firm's Tight Buns and Killer legs with Kelsie. Man, my legs were on fire. I earned 4 aps in 30 minutes.

Remember, this is week three of the July 4th Challenge. I weight in tomorrow. Looking for a good loss this week. woohoo

Has anyone heard of Dukan Diet?

Today was ww weigh in day and i am down 0.40 wooohooo slowly but surely..

last week i earned 49 ap and didn't touch one! i am so proud of myslef! I have been reading the clean eating stuff and it seems pretty good...my main problem is diet coke and chocolate! I am trying to wean myself from the dc but then some sort of stress hits and it either that or chocolate...DC is one ogf the hardest vices to quit.;)

Still having my chocolate attacks but trying to keep them within the points!

Happy Tuesday, Everyone. Today's workout was HIS step only. Earned 5 APs. I'm down another pound. Yeah.

Wendy, thanks. I liked the way I felt yesterday eating low carb, low fat and high protein.

Steph, don't worry. I have a long way to go before i disappear.

Good Morning.

Today's work out was chest only from D22 and the Cardio Core Express Circuit Premix. That work out slays me no matter how I do it! :eek: I was a sweaty mess when I was done! I upped my weights a bit on chest work and boy oh boy did I feel it! I failed a rep early on a few exercises and was lucky not to fail sooner! I think I earned 5 AP's for the total work out. Weight is steady. I am happy. Life is good. :D

Wendy, I can identify with upping the weight esp for chest work. That's helping me improve my pushup count.

I stink at push ups. Only time I ever got decent at them was during my P90X rotation. Now I just do the best I can. I do as many as I can on my toes and then drop to my knees. It's an exercise that I love to hate. :p
 
Man, our group is dwendling.

Today's workout was CCC Premix 1. I burned 500 calories and earned 6 aps.

I'm liking the Dukan diet so far. I have more energy, not hungry and sleep soundly. I do have to crank down my workouts a little, but I'm really fine with that. I found the episode from Dr. Oz and feeling really good about doing it. It's not for everyone, but I'm working it. It fits well with WWers, too.

good morning all
Put my back out on monday and i am a little discouraged. I am taking robacet platinum and i got on the scale and i gained weight...I seriously hope that its the meds because i am not a happy camper. Yesterday all i could do is walk for fitness. not sure how much i,ll be able to do today...it really stinks! my core is super strong, i have the beginning of a 6-pack and i still manage to throw out my back!
I am going to try weights today but i am not sure i can handle it...i think i can forget about imax3 or ccc which have become my fav calorie busters!:mad:

shereta: you have such discipline to be able to follow 2 plans at a time. I have been trying to eat clean but the diet coke and chocolate do me in every time!
Fitmommy: have you tried the push ups cathe does in gym styles...the drop sets! i try and do on set while doing the dvd and another later on during the day on chest day...
 
Good Moring Ladies.

I have some good ol' chest DOMS this morning as expected. :)

Today I did STS D24 Biceps only, 1/2 of JM's 6 week six pack w/o #2 which is a cardio/abs-core circuit that repeats itself twice so I did the circuit one timet through and STS Ext. Stretch.

I pushed hard on bi's since it was the only BP for today so I expect some nice DOMS tmrw from it! :D

Shereta:: Good job w/CCC. Any version of that w/o is killer IMO! Glad you are loving the new way of eating. I will enjoy hearing about your progress with it as time goes on.

Steph:: So sorry about your back! That stinks. Injuries can certainly be frustrating. Please be careful not to push too hard b/c you could make it worse! I have done GS and all of those dreaded push ups in the past, yes. :eek: LOL I am sure if I did it enough it would help me to improve again but I'm not so sure that I wanna! :p:D I wouldn't worry so much about your diet coke habit as much as the chocolate. I am losing weight just fine drinking 1 diet soda per day along with some diet iced tea at home at night. It's the chocolate that can get ya! I input the chocolate I used to eat daily into WW shortly after I joined and it's a ridiculous amount of points for very little chocolate! :eek: Glad I gave it up for Lent and haven't looked back. I am loving the WW brownies, cookies, etc and the WW and Skinny Cow icecream for sweet tooth sating these days! Just something to consider! :)
 
Steph, sorry to hear about your back. That is bad news. So please be very careful.

Wendy, I'm on day 3 and really liking it. No cravings at all. I've passed up sausage biscuits, and chocolate cake so far today. working out has never been a problem for me, it's controlling the food intake. And, Im able to do that with this plan.

CCC is my lest fav Cathe workout. But, I knew I needed to get a good cardio and picked it.
