Good morning all. Got both boys off to school so I have a little time to myself. I'm mainly around the house today while Ewan's at school. I'll be going over to the library after it opens and then pick him up at 11:30, so it's not a lot of time to myself (it's already almost 9:30.
The new Cathe workouts are supposed to be delivered today, but UPS usually arrives late afternoon, so I doubt I'll get them before my usual workout time. I'm trying to figure out what to do today. If it weren't for those new workouts coming, I was going to do a circuit today, but I want to be nice and fresh to try those tomorrow, so I might do another yoga or Pilates workout today. I finally get my ankle looked at tomorrow so I'm still taking it kind of easy before the doctor sees it.
Amelia, how is your DS feeling now? Hope he's better soon. Isaac has had a lot of congestion this week and I'm never sure when to take him to the doctor. It doesn't seem to be in his chest and he's not feverish, so I haven't taken him yet--though I was just at the office yesterday to give them flu shots. The flu shots didn't seem to give them any side effects at least.
Lori, wow snow--just a reminder that you're in Canada! Did I tell you my grandfather was Canadian? Somehow he ended up in Houston, Texas, but he was French Canadian. He had a lovely accent. He was a missionary and very zealously Christian--used to always lay a hand on my head and say "Bless you, child" and that sort of thing. That's my main memory of him. That and he'd fall asleep on the couch with his mouth open. He was so grandfatherly, though--tall and white-haired and dignified (except for the sleeping on the couch thing).
Just realized I haven't even had breakfast yet, so I'd better go do that!
Hello to Belinda, Cheryl, and Cathy!
