Weight Loss Check- In Week of 2/3

Thought I'd start this week's check-in. No change for me this week -- I'm sure its because I slacked on journalling this week.. I'm not sure why its so hard for me to keep focused on that when I know its a key to my being successful.

On a better note, I lost 5 lbs last month which is good..if I keep this up I'll be in onederland by the end of the summer! Something to look forward to.

Hope you all had a great week..

Hi everyone,
I am glad someone started the check-in, don't know why I never want to be the first one. I also stayed the same this week, same reason I didn't plan my meals or journal, and had a lot of dinners out with work. One of my goals was to work on journaling better, so again I am trying this week. On the exercise front, I started back exercising on Wednesday, very low impact because I do not want to hurt my knee again. Of course I am dying to do my new Intensities, but I will try to hold out for one more week.

Hopefully everyone had a good week,
Till next week
Phyllis

Hi Sharon and phillis,

Hey at least you guys stayed the same. I wish I had- I gained 4 lbs this week. When am I gonna learn to not weigh in when I am about to get my period. Arrr. I figure 2 lbs is water weight from pms ing and 2 lbs is just my lousy eating last week. I had been doing so great, oh well I guess its 3 steps forward 1 step back and this is my back week.

My eating was so horrible last week I just can't even express it. Back on track for me this week.

I hurt my back last week (fell down the stairs with a basket full of laundry in my arms) so I've gotta take this week off and rest my back so I am REALLY going to focus on healthy eating.

So to summarize- gain and injury blech :(

But on a plus side, my neck which had been bothering me is all better so that is a very good thing :)

Happy Monday, Everyone. Yest I did Step Works, but ate way too much cake. Today was MIS. My arms are jello. Too busy to post long. Good luck to everyone.
MAKE it a great day.

Hey everyone,

Marci: Rest your back this week, you don't want to play around with a back injury! And it's probably all water weight! If you ate poorly that probably means salty too, so I bet all 4# is water weight!

Good for maintaining to everyone else! ALWAYS better to maintain than to gain!

I dropped 3# last week! You know I was just too tickled with myself! :) I figure it was one of those "new rotation" sudden results things! My body is so weird now! I use to see immediate results when I'd begin a new rotation, which was how I learned to switch up every 6 weeks, but now I'll be into my 4th week most times before I can even tell if it's doing anything for me or not? So the Intensity Series is my friend big time right now! Hopefully the results will continue for another 2 weeks or so! :)

Good week everyone!

Donna

Woo-Hoo! Yeah Donna! http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/huepfen/huepfen017.gif

I know you've been waiting for a good loss for a while now. I'm just entering the world of the Intensity Series so am expecting good things.

[/b]Marci,[/b] sorry about your gain...no looking back.. just forward. Thinking light thoughts for you..

Donna, BTW in looking at the BB rotation it seems like more cardio is needed for fat loss... did you find yourself adding more cardio?? Thanks in advance,

Hi all. Congrats on all losses! I gained 1 pound this week, most probably due to my atrocious eating over the weekend. Oh well, gotta keep pluggin away at those last 10 pounds...
Linda

Donna 3 lbs, amazing!!!! Wow, how much do you weigh now? What is your goal weight? You have come so far!!!!

4 lbs of water weight? Yeah that must be it :)

Linda, hey there is always next week. Lets both report a loss next week :)

Marci

Congratulations to everyone who lost and I'm sorry to those who gained. I lost 2 pounds last week and am about ready to start the Total Body Blast rotation. Bootcamp is scheduled for today and I'll a little scared.

Hello everyone,

May I join your club? :)

I'm quickly becoming a big Cathe fan. I've been collecting her w/os and love, love, love her strength programs. I'm amazed and challenged by her cardio. I would like to lose about 30# starting from 164.

Donna - I read last week's check-in and sympathize with your efforts to rid yourself of the evil white granules. I started again today going sugar free. I managed to go over one month without sugar last summer, but was in a situation where I needed something quick and on the go and went downhill from there. Now I'm just hoping to make it until tomorrow . . . one day at a time.

Today I did Circuit Max.

Hi Kristine! Welcome to the weight loss check-in! It is good to have you here and to know that you are enjoying your Cathe videos.

Good luck with your sugar-free efforts. That must be hard--I've never tried, but I have cut way back on the white flour and I feel much better having done that!

Hope you keep checkin' in!

Donna--I too am interested in what weight you are at now. You must be nearing the 150s!? You are an inspiration!

Linda

Hi guys!
I think I forgot to check in last week but I had gained half a pound. Very sad. Mostly just poor eating and not working out because of a sinus infection. But I am now on antibiotics and am feeling much better. I have my dvds and have done Boot Camp and IMAX 2. Love them both so much. IMAX 2 is really hard but a little more fun than the first. It is going to be hard to not neglect the first because the second is so fun right now. Tomorrow I am doing PUB. So excited! I have practiced the ball work but I know I cannot really do it yet. I am focusing on really working on my abdominals. I am finding that my waist is coming back after my second baby but the lower belly is taking longer. GRRR! I think the new workouts could really help me lose this lower belly pooch if my put my heart into it. I'm committing myself to working my core five days a week. I am going to rotate the new core work, older standard crunch type work and pilates. Hopefully I'll start seeing some results soon! Have a great week everyone. Love, Heather
p.s. Marci- give your back time to heal. I have fallen down stairs carrying laundry too.
Donna- have you been doing a set rotation with the new videos or just whatever strikes your fancy each day?

Hi Heather,

I've been doing the Total Body Blast rotation Cathe posted. It's hard on the body (well, my body at least!) so I'm only doing it another week or so, but it's a great "shake things up" type of rotation. Just too much impact for me on a daily basis.

Donna

oh, and I haven't hit the 150's YET! I'm 165 thanks to my numerous weeks of plateauing/bad eating/etc. I was playing around with 5lbs like it was a toy for weeks! :( Up and down, up and down, but now I'm re-focused on the down. So hopefully the 150's will be around the corner! :)

Hi All,

WHOOPS ! Forgot to post at the beginning of the week. Having a much better week, clean eating is going great, seriously thinking about WW's though (I am too hungry sticking to 1530 calories a day x( - it is turning me into a grouch !).
Anyways, haven't weighed myself, but thanks to my CTX rotation which I have been CONSISTENTLY (like I CONSISTENTLY Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturise my face - God forbid if I ever stopped doing that !!!!!!) doing since last Thursday (with the exception of C&W, and Powermax at the weekend), I am noticing a huge difference around my middle section, no joke - so thanks to all for the kick up my huge a$$ ! :) I am a happier Anna now :)

Anna

Sharon - last months overall weight loss is fantastic ! Are you following a plan like WW's ?????

Phyllis - Thinking of you - take your exercise slowly, best of luck with it.

Marci - sending you lots of <<<<<<<<TRANS ATLANTIC SYMPATHY>>>>>>>> here, TTOTM was me last week (GROAN). Mine has gone now but I still daren't weigh myself. Next week will be better :)

Donna - Well done !!!!!!!! 3# loss ! Crikey me !!!!!! All that Intensity stuff is paying off !!!!!!! Well done :)

Jennifer - Well done !!!!!!!!

Kristine - Welcome to the forum :) Cathe is great, isn't she ? You will receive lots of support here on the forum, not to mention the tons of info !!!!!! :7

Heather - ENJOY !!!!!!! your new workouts :) Let us know how you get on with them :)

Well, thats all folks til next week :)

Anna

Hi Anna! Glad you're feeling back in the swing of things. I am doing WW -- it took me a while though to get the trick of eating at the top of my pt range (and sometimes a little over) to fuel my body for these Cathe workouts.. since then my loss has been more consistent.

This Intensity Series is kicking my butt!! I work out in the AM and swear I can feel the fat sizzling off while I sit at work...I feel like i'm about to break out into sweat until about 2PM. So, the home scale has lurched down this week...I'm eager to go to WI this Sat and get the official results.

See ya!

Thanks Sharon,

Hmmm, sounds like WW's might be a good thing, especially as it allows for extra workout points :)

Glad to hear things are going well with the IS !!!!!

Anna :)
