Hi all!
I did not lose any weight this week. I am still within my plateau range. I did MIS yesterday and today (half yesterday, half today) and boy am I sore!
Well, how did everyone else do?

Ok I was up 4 pounds from my "low", so last week I worked my tail off to get down again, I managed to lose 3 of the 4 only to gain a pound back this morning due to a church dinner at church last night. Sooooo this week I AM going to lose the 2 left to lose and then some more so I can be below my "low" and keep it coming off. How's that for motivation??!! I did Power Hour this morning and was able to increase my weight on some of the exercises so that made me feel good:D Can you tell I am feeling pumped and ready to start the scale downward again???!!!! Hope my pumpness wears off on the rest of you!!

Just wanted to jump in and say hi. I have been so busy since getting back from vacation (IN MAY...yikes). Anyway, I have been up a few pounds and cannot seem to get motivated to start watching what I eat again. Also, I am trying to get pregnant so losing weight at this point will probably have to wait a while.

I have been reading the checkins and I am glad everyone is doing so well. I will pop in fromm time to time to say hi!!!!

Hi all,

Life is good, I'm down 2lbs from last week when I had gained. So I'm planning to keep the trend going! :)

Linda: Do you know that some plateaus can last for a year? I almost dropped my teeth when I heard that! This one woman on another board who finally reached her goal weight said that in the 2 years before she got to goal, 1 full year the scale never moved, and the following year she only lost 1 pound/month! Yikes!

Annette: Congrats on your loss! :)

Kelly: Hope you'll be reporting a "bun in the oven" soon, let us know! Good luck! :)

Have a great week everyone!

One - Year Plateau

Donna,
If I am going to have a 1-year plateau, that means I may lose some more weight just in time for my sister's late September wedding! That would be convenient. It was about a month before my own wedding last October that I plateaued at this 140 lbs. range. I could be more diligent about my eating, but so far I have not had it in me to do so. I have however added a pilates class to my regular routine one time per week. I was hoping that would make a difference!

RE: One - Year Plateau

Hi All,

Long lost me here :)

I'm not losing anymore - I've been hanging out on fitmoms because I am 15 weeks pregnant but I wanted to popover and say hi. I miss the weekly check-ins and the support. Looks like everyone is doing well.
My son (6 1/2 ) is very excited about the new baby and DH is walking on water but my daughter (4) has informed me (multiple times) she wants a puppy instead. I think she will be dissapointed when a puppy does not come out of my body LOL!!

Donna, you must be within an inch of your goal by now. I had to come here and see how you were doing because I was digging into icecream last night and today (BAD MARCI, BAD!!!, no the baby does not need icecream to grow LOL!!) How are you doing with the icecream habit??

Kelly, I hope you get pregnant soon :) It is so excited to be trying for a baby.

I gained 65 lbs with EACH of my first 3 kids and by this point had gained at least 15-20 lbs and so far I have only gained 1.5 lbs so I'm very proud of myself. Gotta watch that icecream though.

A selfish part of me hopes the check in is still going in December so I can join you all because I will have a lot to lose but on the other hand I want everybody be successful and reach their goals and if they do by December then Yeah for them!!!!

Keep up the good work ladies!!

Marci
