Breckie, your post was cracking me up—you are really fitting in well here with your style of humor (as are the other newbie melties). I just re-took the personality test for the heck of it and indeed I am still an INFP but the P was still borderline (I have anal retentive moments so I guess I’m near J). I don’t know how I got that epiglottis disease, but I was a sickly kid in general. I had strep throat, ear infections, and bronchitis a lot, had spots of pneumonia a couple times, etc. It was not a germy house or anything since I was the only kid who was sickly like that so much. Usually I didn’t have anything too serious because I wasn’t hospitalized for any of them. I also managed to keep my tonsils (though sometimes I wonder if they shouldn’t have been removed) and never had tubes in my ears.
Peggie, you sound like me. I often imagine having confrontations with people and in my imagination I am really TOUGH. In real life, not so much. Once in a while I do get in a sort of stubborn and straight-talking mood and I will perhaps offend people (usually my siblings, actually—you should have seen my sister when I said something about how she’s always late—she was so shocked and offended, but it was just a fact. That woman is always very late to everything.) For non-siblings, I just offend when I deliver an opinion a little too vehemently—like saying I hate a certain movie that most people like or something. OK, now I’m just blathering.
Tneah, sorry about the roots trouble. I haven’t actually tried the roots color thing, but I always color out of a box. It just takes too long to do it at a salon for me. During the school year, Ewan is only in school for a total of 2 ½ hours, so put the time to color together with travel time to and from a salon, and it’s cutting it too close. I figure I might start getting professional color once he’s in elem. school. I’m very experienced at coloring my own hair, though. I learned from my big sister who was a notorious hair-changer before I started. Hmm, ISFJ. I should put together that document of info on Melty Maidens and add personality types.
