*~*~*Weekend Melters*~*~* Jan 19/20

Greetings from Sin City!

Who's watching the Chargers today? They are out "adopted" home team since our boat is in SD. I bet you and DH are watching, huh Leanne?:7

Thanks Lainie, I passed that bit of info on to my DH...he gets it in his head he has some horrid thing wrong whenever he is sick or feels under the weather!x( Drives me insane.I totally understand about the cute PT guy seeing you--not at your best so to speak. I say you walk into your appointment in heels, your lovely legs exposed, just so he knows that you do in fact have some "hot legs!"

Oh, I found the perfect solution to my weight workouts without Cathe...I just play her workout while I do mine, so at least I feel like I am still working out with the girls.:)

I did back/abs today, it was hard actually. Mr. Trainer has you do all the exercises with a specific rep count-like Cathe only more varied. It was tough. I dug out my bike and rode that for my cardio, might look into the Spinervals workouts, the bike is the one piece of equipment that keeps my heart rate up.

Okay, just thought I would pop back in before I go get the toes done.:7

Evening all!

I hope everyone is doing well.

I can't wait for tomorrow because it will mean that this week is over. It's been hellish, to say the least. First off, I was sick as anything. Then on Tuesday, a lovely friend's father passed away (he's been sick for quite some time, but it's so sad). Wednesday another really good friend's father went in for knee replacement surgery and ended up having a heart attack. He's okay now, but we were awfully scared, especially since at first they didn't know why he'd collapsed. Thursday a friend and I had to call the police and report another friend missing, because she wasn't returning anyone's calls, wasn't answering her door at home, neighbour said she hadn't seen her in a while and was feeding the cats for her (they'd been left outside, which was unusual). We found her safe and sound, but then this weekend, she called to say that she wanted to take her own life. And to top it all off, my ex's 23 year old bi-polar girlfriend moved in with him after a short stint of dating.

I'm stressed and tired and I have PMS.

Sorry for the venting. I hope y'all can forgive the self-absorbed post.

Good lord woman, you have been through hell, I had no idea it was that awful for you, especially on top of feeling horrible.:-(
I hope your friend gets the help she needs, that must have been horrid, my DH's daughter did that once and scared the crap out of everyone, not a fun situation, especially since you had to involve the police.

Your friends are lucky to have a good friend like you in their lives(((HUGS))) to you.:)

The bi-polar "tweety?" That's a pisser (excuse my language there), I know you had mentioned her awhile back, and Sophie lives there part of the time doesn't she? Is this person at least taking meds for her condition? I know you must be worried, I would be too. Your daughters well-being is obviously on your mind...oh I am sorry, I am not helping at all. Just understand it must be tough is all.

Here's to a much better week...get some rest.:)

Shelley--that was not self-absorbed at all! It sounds like a lot of your blues lately came from your relationships with others so that's definitely not self-absorption. I'm sorry it's been so rough and I hope things go better this week. Like Tneah said, get some rest. And um...don't order any new Amy Bento because you might get a surprise later.
