Good Morning Everyone,

Today I did more daily burn - cardio + weighted tabata

I am working today (morning) so had to keep it short and sweet

Elsie - i have to paint my eyebrows a bit due to aging :(

question of the day: I am stumped. I hope whomever follows can throw one out!

Have a good day everyone

Ok, here's one--what is your favorite brand of athletic shoe?

I really like Ryka and in a walking shoe, especially Easy Spirit "Romy"

Hi ladies,

Siobhan - Working on the weekend again. I sure hope you enjoy what you do. My weekends are my time!

I have been really sleepy tired all day, despite not having the worst night sleep, so I haven't done all that much.

I did a Get Healthy U TV Live workout today. I've had that subscription since last February but really haven't used it much. Good thing it was only around 20 $ for the year. Today's w/o was a 45min Mini resistance band and barre w/o.

As for shoes... different shoes for different purposes. When I used to run I swore by Asics. When my working out at home blew up, I went a little crazy buying all sorts of Nike shoes. Also several cross fit models, that feel likes socks but I was later told by a foot therapist that they don't give enough support. Recently I have started getting Reeboks for dance workouts and for casual everyday wear. So I don't really have one favorite athletic shoe brand.

I rarely seem to have a straightforward answer to the question of the day. [emoji849]

Hi everyone! My favorite shoe is ASICS. I’ve tried Ryka, Nike, Reebok and I keep going back to ASICS for the heel cushion, lateral support and fit. They simply work for me. Linda, have fun at Waldo’s!! That’s another name for THAT place. Siobhan I hope you get at least some time for yourself this weekend. Henriette, I love naps!!

I did S and S Bootcamp today. I had to keep it short. I went to the funeral of a friend of mine who passed away on Tues. She was diagnosed July 3!!!! She had cancer of her lungs (non smoker), liver, breast and possibly bone. 3 months from diagnosis to her death. I’ll miss her. This is why I’ve said “Let those close to you know that you love them”. On a positive note....my brother got a few things of my dads from the step mother. She’s wasting no time erasing all remnants of my dad and us.

Never heard "Waldo's" Peg!! I am so sorry about your friend, that is sad, my thoughts & prayers are with you.
I am glad that your brother was able to retrieve some items, she can't take away your memories!!!

Hi gals,

Rest day here, my shoulder blade is hurting on one side.

I wear New Balance Cross Trainers for my workouts. I wear custom orthotics so the insole in the shoes has to be removable. I have worn Ryka when I was deep into Cathe[emoji55]and it was what she wears. Forget why I went back to New Balance.

Have a great day and workout![emoji3]

regarding shoes - I only wear new balance. I've been working out for years and only new balance seems to fit me right. although my shoe size is a 6.5 i wear a 7 shoe

henriette - you really are amazing and can get a lot done despite being pregnant. very impressive
peg - so sorry to read about your friend. that is a very short time from diagnosis to passing away. what a shock

((Peg)) so sorry to hear about your friend. What a shock is right. :( Geez, I am also sorry about your SM not being sensitive to your mourning needs. It has not been that long. Perhaps she was feeling burdened by all of the memories around and it was causing her to be depressed, I don't know her, but have you thought about expressing your needs as his child? Do you talk regularly? This has to be painful for you ....I am so sorry.
Henriette, that workout sounds interesting.
Excellent workouts today girls despite being busy with work, errands etc. Annette, hope your shoulder is feeling better after your weekend rest. Get you hubby to put some heating rub on there!!

This evening I am doing a diy row routine and Pahla Bower's (YT) 10K indoor run. Haven't done her in awhile.

Interesting question. I always work out barefoot or in knitted yoga socks. For step I wear a Brooks running shoe & for hiking.outdoors etc., I am wearing North Face but I need a new pair as they have been worn out. My biggest challenge these days is finding a good compression sock that isn't too binding.

Hey Elsie, do you have a rowing machine? If so, what kind do you have? I love to row, but don't do it that
Often....are there any good rowing workouts on YT?

Hope everyone will have a good Sunday.....ended up doing the STS extended stretch last night to end the day,
And my plans are to get in some cardio on my elliptical or treadmill today and do a RWH toning mix ,
We will see:)

Often...
Hi Linda, I wish I did. It's the only piece of cardio equipment I ever used at the gym! I meant rows as in various dumbbell & barbell rows.

Hi ladies,

Peg - I am so sorry for your loss.

Today was an unseasonably hot day. 22 degrees! Some years we are in our winter coats by mid October and today we could go out in just a t-shirt! Crazy. They say it's supposed to be nice again tomorrow so that's a nice start to my maternity leave.

With the weather being that nice, I wanted to get out and about but we saw warnings that all roads towards the beaches were super busy, so I decided I would try a bike ride and see how far we could get. Well, we made it all the way to the beach taking the scenic route through parks, but I can't say biking at 36 weeks is all that comfortable. Despite taking it easy, the whole way of sitting and moving legs, even on a city bike, not my mountain bike was putting pressure on my stomach. I even wondered if my butt was getting numb from sitting with all that extra weight. Once there we walked over the boulevard, but there wasn't a single free table on the terraces... all restaurants were packed! Fortunately it was so busy everywhere that no one noticed when I entered the hotel to use their toilet. The reception area was full of people, I guess a combination of the good weather and the fact that most schools have Autumn break next week.

Anyways... we spent several hours outdoors, but from now on I will limit hopping on the bike to short distances for errands. Since getting back from the bike ride my body, especially my back is tired so no other workout for me today.

Enjoy the rest of your Sundays.

Henriette, I so admire you for all the exercising that you are still doing....just take care. I didn't work Friday,
But heard that my co-worker was having contractions about 15 min. Apart, so tomorrow I may hear of a new
Arrival!

Whoops, Elsie, I was thinking rowing machine! I found a couple good machine workouts on YT. I have a Concept
Rower, but rarely use it. Need to remedy that!

I took a walk on my treadmill and did the RWH blender mix so far today. If I do anything else, it will probably
Be an ab workout. Everyone have a good rest of the day!

Hi Everyone,

I had a nice long workout today. I did an intense Bob Harper workout (workout was essentially 20 minutes) + a 30 minutes legs workout + another 15 minute kickboxing workout + 25 minute yoga workout - all from Daily Burn. I just love the variety of workouts, length of time etc... I feel good and stretched.

Henriette - biking at 36 weeks - whoa. you kill me. sounds like you had a great day

Hi everyone! Thanks for the warm wishes. My friend, Colleen was 61 years old. I’m betting she wanted it this way. No dragging things out, prolonging it, suffering longer. She’s a nurse too. She decided that she didn’t want anymore chemo. And that was that!!

As for the step monster....she has always been bitter, hateful and negative. She made sure we knew we were not welcome. My sister actually asked her once “Why don’t you like me? What have I done wrong?” The answer....”I don’t know, I just don’t like you.” Dumb!!

Today I did ICE Lower body Blast with the blizzard and abs. I’m wiped out but it feels good. Henriette I can’t imagine how it must feel to ride a bike THAT pregnant. Do take care. Elsie, a 10k Indoor run sounds interesting. Are you getting some rest? Linda/energizer bunny, I love your “little bits” of workouts throughout the day. Wally World was interesting as always. Siobhan, you really seem to like the streaming stuff. I’ve heard good things about Daily Burn. Do they have a good variety? Around an hour?

Have a great day everyone! I adore you all!

Hi gals,

Took a 50 minute circuit walk with my friend. Now I am hot [emoji274].

Have a great day and workout!

Btw, I exercised up until my 38th week with my 1st. About 34 weeks with my 2nd and only to 30 weeks with my 3rd (Braxton hicks contractions got too strong)

Me again. Siobhan I just checked out Daily Burn. Looks interesting. So do you have access to everything? Or once you create your profile do you just get workouts tailored to that? Some days I go hard but some days it’s stretch, light cardio or light weights. Are they Hardcore tough? I hate feeling defeated by a workout.

Henriette have you tried a workout that’s specifically for pregnancy? Just curious because there are a lot out there.

Got in my 20 min. Abs workout too. So, 20 min on TM, 30 min. RWH , and 20 min abs, that's...1 hr 10 min. So
Far.....I guess that will be it.....for the day.........yeah, I love short workouts throughout the day, can't always do that,
But love it when I can.

Hey all, I'm back from the dead. I think! Yesterday we ended up helping with my husband's grandchildren all day, which was pretty exhausting I must say. I'm glad I'm done with that time in my life. I tried to help his daughter in law by doing the dishes and laundry when her son was napping. She was setting up and running a fall festival at her daughter's school and the succubus ex-wife was supposed to help but was a no show. So, we felt like heroes hahaha. Willing to help, but we were pretty wiped out.

Today we went to church and I was going to do a workout in the afternoon. Very light, but I felt pretty bad. I did some of Step Moves on a 4 inch step. I'm trying to take it slow. I'm sure I'll bounce back. I was so sick. Geez!

My favorite shoes are Asics Gel fit Tempo. I had some that wore out and I got a new pair and I'm delighted. They have ankle support which is great for lateral movement. They are light and flexible. I really dig them.

Tomorrow I'll try to do 30 minutes on the treadmill. I try to keep my heart rate 135-145. I'm so glad to be feeling better.
