Weekend check in 7/15 -7/16

Hello everyone. Happy weekend! Today was Mindy Mylrea "Workout- ultimate sweat fest".....and it was. It felt great. I hope to hear from everyone. I'm plodding along with my home projects. Now I'm thinking of doing stenciling on 2 walls. I'm trying to do little, inexpensive improvements in my house. Just to update it and make things fresh. Have a great day ladies.
 
Hey Peg, I don't think I have checked in since Monday, so Tues. I did an old workout blender of STS 1&10, Wednesday I did a Compound Camp blender mix, Thursday I did blender mix of Lift it Hit it Chest, Tri's &
Shoulders, yesterday I did a Tower toning workout along with a blender RWH Total body mix and a 20 min.
Cardio step interval mix. Today I have done a Leslie Lower Body Circuit walk and getting ready to do a blender
Push Pull upper body mix. That's it in a nutshell! Have a good one.
 
Back to add in for today, a 22 min ab/core workout and Jessica's 10 min Abs/Arms quickie walk. Sounds like
A lot for today, but not really, Leslie's walk was 20 min., Push Pull mix was 21 min., abs 22 min. & Jessica's was 10
So total for today was 1 hr 13 min. To keep me in a workout for a straight hr +, is almost impossible, but breaking
It up into several shorter workouts keeps me interested & motivated!
 
Hi Everyone,

Today I did a double Skogg workout. It was tough but good. I realize I need heavier bells - even though I have 30 pounds - some of those women are using 55 pounds. wow.

Great workouts ladies. I hope to see you all tomorrow. I did not workout yesterday. I was just so darn sore from not having taken a break from exercise for 8+ days. it catches up.

A CatheLive, but decided to save that for another day, kinda' tired too.....
 
Hello everyone. You're both rocking it! Today I did Cathe Live LiHi lower body. It was awesome. I love a workout that has cardio and decent lower body work. My glutes are tender right now. Today hubby and I went to Connecticut to pick up an armoire, then home for more painting and stuff. It never ends! We took the dogs to a dog park after dinner too. That was nice. Have a great evening everyone.

Today I worked a tad on my newest workout for my class.

Then I took an hour long walk, phone said it was 3.06 miles at 3 mph. I have no idea how accurate the phone is and it did not record the little bit of jogging that I did. I did talk on the phone for the majority of the walk to my sil.

Hi Ladies,

I have been missing for a few days... actually more than a week.
Last weekend (weekend of 8-9 July) we started redecorating the kids' rooms. Magnus had Spiderman wallpaper and wants all white walls and black furniture, and the room that will be the nursery was bright green, but I want baby blue walls and white furniture. I spent all Saturday emptying Magnus's room and de-cluttering it, while my bf was stripping the walls in the nursery. Unfortunataly despite being careful and not lifting heavy I overdid it and hurt my back really bad. So Sunday I was pretty immobile :(

To top it up I got a migraine and am not allowed to use my medication due to the pregnancy... so start of the week I was suffering from both my head and my back and ended up taking 2 days sick leave. I did try to go for some longer walks as walking was less painfull than sitting.

From Wednesday onwards I was back at work, but not fully recovered so all I managed were some long walks. Still long walks... sometimes even for 1.5hrs are better than nothing right, and carrying extra weight around it becomes quite a workout. :) But not as much fun as a Cathe workout!

This weekend we were busy with the rooms again, but I had to be extra extra careful as my back still hurts. So I left all the hard work, wallpapering both rooms to my bf while I continued decluttering and reorganizing.

I did get in a small workout yesterday. Approx 50min in total... mixing a couple of Shine Dance fitness songs for warm-up and cool down with a Qinetic Live thigh and glute workout. I thought the Qinetic w/o was really good, so I will be trying more of them, but I still need to be careful as my back is not back to normal yet. Hopefully it won't be another week before I check back in with some workouts.

I have been reading what all of you have been up to, and WOW! Some really good workouts... and good ideas.
Can't wait until I can do more again, although I will not be copying Siobhan with her KB anytime soon!
I saw an old episode of Extreme Weight Loss with Chris & Heidi Powell yesterday, and in it Heidi was pregnant, but still using KB swings etc. and I thought hey.... I should do a KB workout again, it's been a while. But let's see how I get on with my back first.
