Week to Week 12/7/20-12/13/20

Hi all

Today was CL Rock em Sock em and yoga.

I have been trying really hard to alternate longer and shorter workouts. It’s very difficult for me to work out for less than at least an hour a day.

Is the week over?? Yesterday was Denise Austin Stretch & Flex and I took Cooper to see Santa Paws. Today, was mat work from Firm Volume 5. Christmas time in FL!!

Restorative day for me. KY 15m & an old Melt Roller session 25m

Geoff: Those Christmas lights are really pretty.

Sherri: I hope life is leveling out for you.

Lisa: I’d workout 20 hours a day if my body would tolerate it. Sadly, it won’t. :( I’m trying really hard to limit myself to an hour during the holiday season.

Hope everyone else is doing well. It’s a busy time of year.
 
Hi, everyone! My back was bugging me last night, so for safety's sake I opted for a rest day today instead of Lower Body Blast + shoulders. The rotation called for a rest day tomorrow. Which I think means I'll need to put a day of spin for steady-state in between the next two Cathe workouts in the ICE rotation (so as not to overwork the same body parts). I'm fine with that! In it for the long haul. My new tablet arrived yesterday and I'm all set up with the OnDemand and CL subscription (free week trial first)!!! I'm pumped. The screen is pretty small but I don't think that will matter too much. My workout room is also small! Haha.

Geoff: thanks for sharing the pics! So pretty. I have friends that moved to Miami in May so I imagine they're seeing that kind of thing now!

I'm with you ladies who struggle with shorter workouts. I'm a sweat junkie, too! But my body tells me what's what, and after many years of not listening, I finally am. And I'm happier for it, so I try to honor that!

They, do a lot of nice set ups for Christmas and I actually, like spending it warm weather :) Piper Aircraft is located on the Airport and they have a nice set up. Plus, a lot of people in my complex have a lot of nice set ups. I like driving around town on Christmas Eve and Night very peaceful. However, I do miss spending my Christmases as a child in New Jersey!! Cooper's 2020 Picture with Santa Paws!!

You better not bark, you better not howell, you better not whimper, I'm telling you why, Santa Paws is coming to town! He's making a list, he's checking it twice, he's gonna find out if Cooper has been naughty or nice, Santa Paws is coming to town! He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good or chasing squirrels, so you better be good for goodness sake!

Good morning! Looks like I've missed a few days posting. We have all our Christmas trees and outside decorations up. They've been up for weeks. :) I love seeing all the decorations!!

Thursday I tried Cathe's Tabatacize workout. Yeah. Right. LOL!! It's fabulous, but WAY too much for my knees. Oh well. At least I tried, right?

Yesterday was Yoga Relax and I always love that.

Today was LITE Body Weights and Bands, and this was my first time doing it. Don't let the name fool you! This was one fantastic workout! I loved it!!

Today Hubby and I are wrapping some gifts. :) Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone!!
 
Today was ICE Lower Body Blast+MM shoulders. Wowza, I'm gonna be sore tomorrow! Lol. Great workout! I'm liking ICE a lot so far. I think it's going to really help me build up strength and stamina so I can hang in there and take fewer breaks during her more advanced stuff.

Carol: ohhh Tabatacize. How I dread thee. Lol! I think that was the first Cathe workout I ever tried. I always feel like I'm going to die. I don't do it often. In fact, I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon. :p

Back to work with me for a few hours. Have a great Saturday, folks!

I need to find another long band. I have the small ones - the loops - and the tubing, but only one long band. I couldn't believe how challenging the workout was, but totally doable. :)
 
Well mark me over stressed, over booked and unaware. I thought today was Monday. Sorry about that. Lot’s going on here. As Sherri said, some times life comes at you fast.

Good morning and happy Sunday!

I did a lot of balance work today before and after my main workout. It's something I should be doing every day, twice a day, but tend to neglect when I get stressed and tired. All the stress re: the pandemic and politics isn't helping. I'm tired of it. I know everyone else is, too. I didn't realize just how stressed it has me until I went back and read my journal entries for the past month. I tend to simply free flow the writing in those so it's not filtered. That helps me go back on days like this and find the triggers. There are way too many of them right now, but I know I'm not alone. It's best to avoid them right now.

Anyway... today I decided to do Pyramid Upper Body from Cathe's Intensity series. This was one of the first Cathe strength training workouts I ever did, and I still adore it. I pause it fairly often, though, so I can get in some extra stretches and water breaks, but not for too long so I don't lose the benefits of this type of training. I always feel so STRONG after I do the Pyramid workouts. :)

Yesterday was a rest day. I am trying to get organized with what I need to order for Xmas eve and Day dinners, work is crazy and I require a lot of self care so I apologize if I have been short on personals.

Today was CL Push Pull Heavy Weights and yoga.
