We adopted a greyhound!

What a cute dog! I love his coloring. Looks like he's full of personality. I think it's wonderful you took on a greyhound . . . my DH and I have talked about adopting one but just haven't made the move yet. We have a pretty large fenced in yard now, so I think that would be ideal. He's lucky to have you - and vice versa!

I recently met a women who had just adopted a greyhound mix. He was one sweet, 'gentlemanly' dog.

Christine, yes, we have him now. Got him on Saturday.
Kathryn, His name is Tank, track name LNL Hoosier. He was retired due to ACL surgery.
 
My neighbor has 3 greyhounds and often fosters one. Do you know that you can get his track record? This lady has the records for all of her dogs. One came dead last in every race! they are the gentlest giants that I know.They are wonderful dogs! You are lucky!
