Ways to rate yourself

First of all, Claridge, 11% IS a sexy rating, because it means that 89% of the women your age are heavier than you. What's wrong with that??? Second, Mogambo makes a great point. There were 312 views of this post, and only 8 people actually posted. That should tell you something.

Okay ladies I am one gal that likes to rate her self. I just started Cathe so I am overweight in my book.

So I can beat you all in the percentile game.

I am 21, 5'4", 142.5

My percentile is 55th

So all of you have a lot more sex appeal and muscle that I can even begin to amagine. But I love Cathes workouts and will get there.

So no one feel bad for being in the double digits I am younger and a whole lot heavier than all of you :)

Well, I was in the 24th percentile before I got pregnant..and I can deal with that!:)

Unfortunately my face starts to get too thin if I go much below the weight I was at and then I don't look healthy anymore.:-(

After I deliver...well, that could be another story! x( lol But I fully intend to get back down to my original weight!

Tina-

You go girl! Give it your best shot and you will get to where you want to be! :)

I am 5'3" and started at about 140 pounds or so a couple of years ago when I began a diet and exercise program so I know where you are coming from! I got down to 125 pounds...A weight which I am easily able to maintain and that I am comfy with.

Keep us updated on your progress!:)

Take Care.

Hey Tina,
When I was a teen I was obese. In my twenties, I was overweight. In my thirties I was "normal" weight, and now, in my forties, I'm in the 2nd percentile. Believe it or not, I'm grateful that I learned how to deal with my weight at a young age. Now it's second nature to me, and it just kept getting easier as the years went on. Most of the girls who were skinny-minis in their younger days who are now my age are matronly because they never had to learn how to eat right and control their weight, and then the hormones took over. So, you see, dealing with problems at a young age can mean a happier future! :D

Good luck!

Very good point Nancy, you genius, you.

Yes, through pain and toil I have basically got a "winning system" too at this point and I am truly grateful. I think I'll be much healthier and energetic, not to mention more "attractive" in my older years. I consider this to be one of my successes in life and I also enjoy helping other people get healthier, and in the process usually, losing weight.

Mogambo,

I am posting this just to catch up with you so I can be as smart as you are. I'm only 7 posts away from being a true genious like you!

Seriously, though, you are right. We are successful in this way. And you are the picture of slim, wirey, woman-strength! I bet all the forty-somethings are jealous as heck. :D

Okay people!! Obviously I missed something! (What else is new?) What does posting have to do with intelligence? I'm very curious now!

TIA,
Ruth

:)

Well Ruth

Maximus said she noticed most of the people here were pretty smart
and Nancy replied that the ones with the most posts, are the brightest of the bright.

If you click back to page 3 (I think) its all there

And the only reason I've been posting so much lately is that I noticed Nancy was within one post of catching up with me. And she was online!! So I sprinted ahead!! Thank goodness for IntervalMax and all it's done for my cardiovascular system.

I have taken the real age test quite some time ago. My aunt sent it to me. On the other site I was in their 2% range and under weight. Personally I would not want to gain that much weight., maybe just a little so the muscle mass can show. I do not feel like I look underweight at this point. I do know that much below where I am I feel like I look to thin. This is an interesting post.

Your Not alone Marion, I was feeling pretty good at my 25% rating until I saw some of the others. :( Including yours miss 11% ;) My husband told me to quit reading this post!

Actually, Marion, it was Mogambo who said that the people with the most posts are the brightest. So I've been posting away like crazy ever since, but still haven't caught up with Mogambo yet. I'll get there! }( :+
