Some kind of a vibrant pink color...like a fuchsia I think.

Do you have an Ulta or Trade Secret where you are? They both should have all kinds of OPI colors. There is a REALLY nice purple called Purple With A Purpose (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=2611783). There are some nice lighter tones with a purple hue. I also think having a french manicure done on the toes is classic looking! Just buy the white they use for the tip in case of chips! You ARE getting a pedicure, right??!!

Carrie, we have Sephora's around here and I believe they carry the OPI polish.
I guess I better get a pedi - I had been thinking about it but I've never had one before!
I have no idea where to even begin looking for a place or what to ask for! It might be something fun to do with DD.

You have never had a pedicure??!! Run, don't walk to your favorite salon and book one pronto! If your DD is anything like mine, she will LOVE getting a pedicure! There are several options. If you have the choice, go with a "spa pedicure." It is a little longer but includes soaking your feet in the "whirlpool" while sitting in a massaging chair...AAAHHHH!!! It also includes a massage of the leg - usually from the knee down. Just watch if you have ticklish feet !

The dress is truly fabulous: grown up, elegant, classy and a little bit daring. Love the front detail and the flutter sleeves are just charming. The dress of a woman old enough to know what suits her and young enough to flash some leg. Go with it.
I haven't personally liked any of the shoes people have shown you so far because they have all been quite ordinary and predictable, apart from the pair that nobody could possibly walk in! I think something quite out of the ordinary is what this dress requires. I don't have time to browse for you and we may not share the same taste, but if you find some and post links, we can tell you what we think. I would avoid purple shoes and also black shoes. You might find a hot fuschia pink or mauve strappy sandal, or go with the silver. But the silver is the colour we would expect to see with this dress, that's why I personally would seek out the unusual colour.
As for OPI nail polish shades, try PURPLEOPOLIS. My favourite hot pink/purple shade. See what you think.

Suzanne, I love the dress! It's really lovely and special. You will be a stunning bride. I can't help you with nail color. I HATE pedicures and manicures . I just simply can't sit still for it, and I don't like to put color on my nails. I know, I'm weird.

Thanks Clare! I was looking at the Purpleopolis yesterday. That'll be a fun shopping time - a little break from the big pressures coming up with rings and suits.
For shoes, I'm not that confident to go way out there for unusual color choices but I do see what you're saying. I did find a seriously sexy pair of silver high heel slides with little rhinestone accents. Can't for the life of me find a pic online but they are cute!
Michelle - I hear what you're saying sistah! After I did a little surfing to see what a pedi would cost I thought "ummmm, not in the budget". I hate having polish on my fingernails and actually need to remember to invest in an emery board because I usually just clip them down and walk away. But...fun toenails, 'nother story.

But the dress .. pretty.. I've been following along and the purple dress one was my favorite from the beginning. Silver shoes will work great. You're going to be a beautiful bride...

Miss Lee, . .I am the same way. I can't sit still for them and I just don't like people touching my feet. I've got this Al Bundy (Married With Children) freakish thing about feet. When I do paint my own toe nails I always go for the nude more natural color.
By the way. LOVE LOVE LOVE the dress. You'll look fabulous. Post pic's please.
