water retention?

I just recently started working my legs more and I noticed today and yesterday my legs are extremely sore and my jeans feel tighter in the legs. My question is could I be retaining fluid? Thanks for any help!!
 
Yes, muscle is comprised of mostly water. You will most likely notice an initial gain on the scale. Don't let it worry you. Keep at your program!

I worked legs yesterday and today my jeans were tighter too...ugh. But it will go away! Its just fluids like Clarissa said.
 
Thank You, I feel better now. I was feeling a little discouraged when I tried on my jeans. My legs just shake when I exercise because they hurt so much, hopefully the pain will go away soon.
 
Drink more water. I know it sounds weird. A friend of mine told me about proboitics, so I have been getting those fiber bars with that in them. Also I a teaspoon of cod liver oil and mixin' aloe vera juice in my cranberry juice helps as well.

Yep I don't like water retention either, you are so not alone!
