Walking Lunges with Limited Space

Hello!
I'm hoping someone can help me find the article where someone had asked how to do walking lunges when space is very limited. I can't seem to find that answer and with June's rotation including the walking lunges, I would like to know how to do these in my very limited space. I don't feel comfortable enough to take it
outdoors.

Thank you!

I've done 400 in a motel room - you just do them back and forth the length of the room. Can't get much simpler than that! You do the best you can with the space you have, and don't let that stop you.

Thank you! Sounds like a good plan!! I just thought I had seen something mentioned but it really isn't a big deal.
What you said is basically my philosophy as well ~ I do what I can with what I have and it still works for me! Thanks again, tho, for your reply!

I've done them three or four steps forward and three or four steps back when space is limited (ie: when the living room isn't cleared out!). When I do the three-step version, I make sure to start each 'trip' with the opposite leg to keep things balanced.

You can also do them forward, then backward, saving the 'turning around" space.

Also, consider different 'paths' to make your trip longer, like using a hallway, or going from the kitchen to the living room to the hallway and back again.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful tips! This morning I did the "walking" lunges best I could around the pool table in my basement for one minute. I did not keep track of the count since I was focusing on form and not stubbing my toes, LOL! I am doing the June rotation and it is during the BBW series. I am thinking it is going to work. I do like the three steps forward and three steps backward idea, too! Thanks again everyone! Great responses!

Rock on!!

Just make sure you change directions half-way through so you don't get some kind of imbalance.

Great Taffi! Also, be very careful when making turns...keep your knees in aligment and don't twist to turn...be sure to pick your whole foot up, turn, then place foot ahead to lunge. You are going to get to know your pool table well. Ha!
