Hi Everyone,

Does anyone own the Exerflex ? What kind of results have you had with it ? Glad you bought it ?

Look forward to hearing from you

I would be concerned that it may not offer enough resistance for some folks, like me. I love toys, and it looks intriguing. I would wait for a personal exerience endoursement from someone else, then I would get one on e-bay.

Hi Cyberfit,

An Exerflex is similar to one of those ab workers, but this is a whole body worker. It claims to work pretty much the whole body. I actually have one, I bought it from QVCUK in February, apparently it was launched in the US first on QVC America, and sold so many, they decided to bring it over to the UK. It is made by Thane Fitness, they might have it on their website, though I reckon QVC America will it have it on their website (www.QVC.com).
To work the different body parts, you have to set it at different angles.
You can do the following exercises on it: Hamstring curls, abductors, rows-lats, row- biceps and back, pelvic tilt, a triceps push out, a triceps push down, a chest press, abs/obliques, push-ups, lower body crunch, quads, adductors and hamstring curls.
Mine came with a workout video, and instruction manual.
It is actually quite good, and I'll use it around the children during the day. The different settings on the machine create the resistance for that particular exercise you happen to be doing.

Hope this was of some use.

I must add you don't get a huge amount of resistance as you would with weight machines in a gym, but it is OK for a small piece of equipment.

Hi Cyberfit,

Had a quick look on QVC's website and Thane Fitness, and they don't list it anymore. However it is listed on the Thane UK website.
Honeybunch's idea sounded good, it might be worth checking out e-bay for an unwanted one.
