I am a huge Cathe fan!!! My problem is that I'm on a limited budget, so it's hard to add to my Cathe video collection! Does anyone know the best place (other than Ebay)to find used Cathe videos and dvds?

I don't know what problems you may have had with eBay, but it really can be a good source. I babied my Cathe tapes, and think most people do, so I know they were in perfect condition. I just sold all of mine to upgrade to dvd's. I was satisfied with the bids (money) I received and yet I know the buyers got a good deal. A nice thing all around. Sadly this is the only source I can think of to buy them. I do know that there are "trade" places online, but that is really tedious. Lots of looking through what people have/want to see what you may have/want to match up. I get really frustrated with that. I hope you get better responses than mine

Ashley, I do a lot of transactions on E-bay and just for fun, I sometimes do a search on Cathe's workouts. I find that the DVDs especially sometimes end up higher (if you tack on shipping costs) than if you bought them directly from cathe.com.
What I did was sell on E-bay all the workouts I no longer enjoyed and a lot more things I no longer used here at home, kinda like an online yard sale. With the money I got, I was able to buy Cathe's DVDs in bundles. I couldn't afford the biggest bundle (although it was the best deal), but I did one small bundle after another until I had most of them. Best money I ever earned for splurging.
If you want to trade, there's a trading forum in videofitness.com.

As someone else mentioned, alot of times on Ebay the videos end up selling for a higher price than they are listed here at cathe.com.
Thanks for your help!

I wish How nice would that be I sold over 40 vhs tapes and not a single one went for more than I paid I did make enough to come close to buying the 36 pack of dvd's....I was willing to kick in the extra bucks. Some were Firms, the rest Cathe....oh, and my Firm Fanny Lifter than hasn't been used since the High Step. The HS saves space with combined risers for my step and is way more versitile on height adjustments. When I got the 36 pack I had two duplicate dvd's which I sold new and still sealed. Neither of them went for Cathe.com price.
Having said all of that, perhaps eBay doesn't work for you. I am just sharing my experience, which has been very positive

Hello there. I was thinking of selling some of my Cathe videos on ebay (I have never sold only bought on ebay)so that I could purchase the workouts that I don't have on dvd yet. If you are interested in discussing this, feel free to email me at: [email protected].
Dani, I actually saw your listings. I don't know what it is about E-bay. You can have the same kind and QUALITY of items as another seller and yet you get lower bids -- even though you have good feedback. Happens to me all the time. Sometimes it also depends on the timing of your listing. No one wanted my old Gin Miller tapes (those old Reebok step videos) so I relisted. Well, whaddaya know? The next time I had those up there, there were several bidders.
I do see some DVDs that go beyond -- if you tack on shipping -- cathe.com prices. Lucky sellers...
E-bay has changed a lot. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a circus more than in a virtual auction lot. And I've had whiny buyers before who are very particular with how their items are packaged and shipped and when. They do put my son's terrible twos and threes in a better light...
Glad to know it all came together for you. Enjoy your new DVDs.
No doubt!! I am considering myself very fortunate that I only have one vhs left on my shelf that I am still waiting for some sort of payment. Nearly three weeks later, I just got it yesterday with a note saying the amount of the money order and 5 dollars cash....only there was no cash I actually laughed because I can't imagine someone taking so long to finally send a payment (after sending me several emails that it had already been sent) and then splitting the total up, saying there is cash, but no cash. How do I respond to that except to giggle?
As crazy as it sounds, I am just going to send the tape. I have my dvd's and I could not be happier with them. Truthfully, I had so many listed that if it is only one little problem, it is small in the grand scheme. My hope is that whatever stress this gal is under, she will work it out with Cathe.
