Cathlete
Hello,
I am new to cathe workouts. I have always done the firm which I still love. I am looking to get more muscle definition in my arms and the girls on the firm forum suggested cathe workouts. I just recently purchased push and pull, upper body pyramid, kick punch and crunch, and muscle endurance. I did the pyramid workout on sunday and loved it. I want to take advantage of the discounts and am looking to buy more videos. I just dont know if I should buy the slow and heavy series or the pure strength series as well as the supersets? I have read good reviews on all but am having a hard time deciding which ones to buy. I am looking to get more cut in the shldrs especially. my biceps/triceps are responding good however the side and lateral delts are slow. I want that cut on the side of your arms from the side delt area. If i flex you can see the muscle but when arms are relaxed you cant. I would love any advice on these workouts?thanks laura:)

My advice would be to purchase the Gym Style workouts. Slow & Heavy takes alot of mental energy b/c of the slow rep speed so alot of people only use this series for 2-3 weeks at a time. I like Pure Strength, but Gym Styles are a more updated version and tougher in my opinion. I was hesitant about using the dynaband in GS but I'm glad I purchased that as well, it's really tough and adds a whole new dimension to my workouts. Plus as an added bonus I take the band when I'm traveling and do alot of the same exercises on the road that Cathe does in the Gym Style series!

Welcome to Cathe Laura!..I agree with Stacy on the Gym Style workouts. Musclemax is a great total body workout also. Pure Strength is a good workout too. I love using the Dyna band with the Gym style workouts and Musclemax. A great way to confuse the muscle and get results!...:)...Carole

Thanks for the recommendations. There are so many workouts it hard to choose. I will definately get the gym series I think. Everyone seems to like those. I just loved upper body pyramid, she really fatigued my arms. They felt like they weighed 50lbs each the rest of the day. I am hoping cathe will get me the definition I want. I hav egotten great results with other videos but I need something to boost me their faster, better. Hopefully her workouts are it.
thanks

I would suggest the GS Back/Shoulders/Biceps and GS Chest/Triceps.

I have been doing these for a month and have seen huge improvement in strength and cuts, especially in my shoulders area.

Out of Cathe's Hardcore, these are by far the best in this series.
