Upper body rotation

Cathe, or anyone else, I was wondering if you could help me with an upper body rotation. I broke my toe and according to my doctor it could be 3 - 4 weeks until I can do a cardio or lower body weight workout again. I want to lose weight so since I can't do cardio I know I will have to be extra careful with my diet, but for weights should I do a rotation that focuses more on strength or endurance? I have all of Cathe's weight workouts, so any help would be appreciated :)

Hi Storm,

I would suggest checking out the rotations section. FitnessFreak put together a wonderful upperbody rotation called "get ready for summer"!

When I broke my ankle, they gave me crutches. Using them and going everywhere with them really built up my upper body and my non-broken leg became super strong. In fact after the cast came off I was able to use my arms to go up the pole at the park (without using my legs).
If they gave you crutches this really works well to give you a cardio workout. If they didn't give you crutches I recommend getting a pair.

I found with ankle weights I was able to work both legs (one at a time) while lying down. Actually on the cast leg I didn't even need to add weights as the cast weighed a lot.

speaking of ankle weights, what part of the leg do they work. for what length of time could you wear them. this is silly but what if i were to where ankle weights at work? i work sales floor and on my feet for 71/2 hours which i know would be too long to wear them. just curious
