Update?

I'm really hoping that more information will be shared during the process this go-round. I recall that Cathe had to put out a video rationalizing the lack of communication for LMR1 because folks were so frustrated about the delays and the radio silence.

I'm coming to accept this is kinda the new norm now. I'm not in control of what's happening on the production and customer service side. I suppose if I'm really disgruntled, I can speak with my wallet and cancel my pre-order.

Not there yet, though. On the scale of things to be disgruntled about in my life, this is low, low, loooowwwwwww on the totem pole.

Requests for an update isn't a complaint nor should it be characterized as one. It is all part of the waiting process on an upcoming release...and I'm sure Cathe et. Company expect.( If everyone didn't care about the status that would certainly be no bueno, lol!!!) But whether other customers desire an update doesn't diminish the reasonable expectation of the OP et others to receive some sort of a response. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I entirely agree. It's been 3 months since the announcement. The request was not for a "constant flow of info". Nor is a request for an update a complaint. It's just a request. And if you're not curious yourself, then don't bother reading the posts asking for an update, seriously. Maybe those who don't like the requests for an update after three months of nothing should just wait to get the workouts & be pleasantly happy, and not try to knock others (calling them smart phone addicts) just for being curious.

ETA: There are some Cathletes still waiting for more info before they pre-order. More info may help that decision. More sales benefits all of us, not just SNM. IIRC, there was a planned presale of Cathe's that she cancelled due to lack of interest ... I think it was more than 20 years ago, but it could happen again. That early ending of the first tier LMR2 presale in late March was one of Cathe's most intense sales pitch drive I've seen in a long time - made me question the interest in LMR2.

I've always enjoyed the updates - everything from building excitement to helping me determine how I plan to use it when it arrives. This time, though, I've had to start working out again from a long time away from it, and while I'm proud that I got started... I'm still struggling. I'll get there, but there's something about the teasers, updates, and blog chat that always used to encourage me to push a little harder on my next workout. It got me excited again. I'm hoping for that "feeling" again. I know... motivation needs to come from within (lol), but right now... I'd enjoy those little external motivators, until I see enough progress/results that I start feeling like I'm doing more than just "plugging away". I have no idea if that makes sense, but the excitement that updates create on the blog are kind of "catching". I don't even have a smart phone (so no addiction here lol). I'm on a laptop. I just like the social aspect of working out and looking forward to something together - the community is supportive and fun and updates give people something in common to talk about. :)

Yep, my excitement for these has dwindled significantly in the past month or so.
Yup. I was initially excited about 4 low impact cardio workouts. When Cathe said in March she was previewing new moves/choreography in the Lives and the only thing I've been seeing are the animal/gorilla moves, my enthusiasm has dampened also. No news isn't always good news.

No complaints here. I don't expect a constant flow of info: something I think too many people expect due to smart phone addiction. I'm happy to wait, let them put their valuable time and energy into production, then, as they can, sprinkle in a few teasers.
Same here, :)I am quietly and patiently waiting revisiting previous releases.

There is way too many rotations and toys to happily play around instead of checking the smart device frantically.
#justsaying.
