Update 3/15/06

Cathe - Thank you for the update! I agree with everyone else here - your health comes first :) . Take care of yourself and continue to heal, no matter how long it takes. But I hope for your sake the healing doesn't take much longer ;-) . We will be here waiting for the DVDs whenever they may be done. It just gives us something to look forward to :7 .

Well i'm glad there's nothing serious that showed up with the dye. i'm sure you're frustrated, but we are just more than happy to wait until you are 100% - hang in there cathe!

Praying for You!!!

Cathe:

I am keeping you in my prayers! While I am waiting for these new DVDs, I am working on getting the rest of my extra weight off so I will be light on my feet and ready for Drill Max when it is ready for me!

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

Dear Cathe,

Thanks for the update. I'll keep you in my prayers, just take as long as needed to recover and heal fully.

Love,

Yvonne

Thanks so much for the update, Cathe. I'm sorry nothing got resolved but am glad to hear the MRI results were not dismal!

I also don't mind waiting as long as it takes for you to get better and film these workouts. I have no doubt they'll be up to your usual hight standards.

Cathe,

Thanks for the update. I hope you continue to heal and eventually get some answers. I am saving 4 slots in my DVD tower for whenever the new workouts arrive. In the meantime, I'll continue to let you torture me with all the ones I currently have!!:D

I'm mainly a lurker here. But just had to post. One thing I have learned from the way you have handled this situation is that you practice the advice that you give about listening to your body and not risking more injury. We are learning so much from you right now. Thank you for keeping us updated on your progress.

Wishing you a complete recovery.

Susan C.

Hi Cathe,
I am glad that the MRI showed nothing, I hope you start to feel better soon and the doctors figure something out for you. I can wait as long as it takes for you to film, because you are a great inspiration to many people. I am just restarting working out after surgery and being ill for a while so hopefully I will be ready when you do film those advanced workouts. Feel better
Phyllis M:)

Thanks for the update, Cathe. This must be so unbeliveably frustrating I can't even imagine. . . Hopefully, the new sports med specialist can give you some answers and a recovery plan that will get you back to 100% as soon as safely possible. Hang in there! :)

Sue

Cathe,
You are such an inspiration to so many, I know you will heal up and be just like new in no time. This may be some way of having you take a rest from your busy, busy schedule and take a breather to be with your family. Your other family (us) will be here for you when you are ready to relaunch.
Sincerely,

Katy

Hi Cathe,

First of all, my heart goes out to you -- and I am willing to wait as long as it takes for you to film.

Your health is first and foremost -- you have already enriched my life and brought such joy to me in times of darkness.

What I really wanted to ask is whether or not you have seen a neurologist.

This question may have already been answered and if so, I apologize.

However, a friend of mine was given the run around by first his primary care MD and then an orthopedist due to excruciating lower lumbar pain.

Nobody could answer his questions until he visited a new physician who referred him to a neurologist.

He has been through countless CT Scans and MRIs -- with and without contrast. Finally, his neurologist found that they were treating the wrong lumbar disk -- it was the one above the one they thought was compressed.

It turned out that his pain was not orthopedic, but neurologic in origin.

Again, if this question has been answered, please accept my apologies for redundancy.

Take care and I have you in my thoughts as you recover - and you will recover!

From a true fan,

Amy

Cathe, I'm sorry to hear that your injury has not healed yet.

I am busy rediscovering some of your earlier workouts at the moment(I did IMAX1 today and had a blast) so have plenty to be going on with in the meantime!

Best wishes
Kirsty in Australia:)

Cathe,

I have not posted much due to lots of things going on in my own life, but I have been following your progress through this injury. I want you to know my prayers are with you. Everything happens for a reason, although bad things are nothing to celebrate. I know your future is bright because of the way you go about things- you have inspired trust in so many of us.

Take good care and let us know how you are doing. Maybe I will be able to work out again by the time you film. I am sidelined till about August.

Fondly,

Connie

Hi, there Cathe,
Just wanted to say that I miss you. You are showing a lot of grace in adversity and I hope this is over for you soon.
Happy healing.
Amy

Hey Cathe!
I haven't really been online in a while, and had a free day today, and was shocked to see you are injured!

Just like everyone else, I wanted to say there is no rush! I know you must feel like you are letting people down, but no one would wish you to be injured even farther by doing these vids too early!

It's kinda like Michelle Kwan at the Olympics. I don't think she was 100% and had to pull out early b/c of injury..she thought she could risk it, and it wasn't good!

Anyway, there are tons of alternatives for Cathe fans to do. You could challenge yourself to get in the best shape possible for the new vids, or as others have said, do vids you may not have done in a while! Heck, I have almost everything you have put out for advanced exercisers, and I have only done some of the vids 1 or twice, so it is a good time to revist these. Or something else to try is to smile throughout the workout like you guys! (Way too hard for me!!)

Thanks Cathe, and enjoy the small break if you can, while you are figuring out answers!!!
You're awesome, and your workouts just kick butt and have awesome music! :) Jaime

Take care of yourself - the dvds can wait :) I hope you get the best medical advice possible - you deserve it!

In the meantime - I am going to complete my Hardcore collection with your Core Max and High Step Challenge :) Thanks for your excellent work - you have contributed so much to so many people :)

Dear Cathe,

This is my first time posting on this site. And I just want to tell you that you are THE BOMB!, when it comes to amazing workouts. I'm 40, a mom of 4 miraculous kiddos, and am at my pre-children/newlywed weight---thanks to your workouts over many years. My husband loves the results of these workouts as well. My goal is to look like you--talk about motivation! And I know if you wisely take the time you need to recover you will continue to create those KICK-YOUR-BUTT dvd's. You very frequently say in your hardcore series videos "this is a recovery--take it when it comes to you". That's all your in right now--though extremely difficult--is a recovery time.

I have several of your mid-90's tapes and had been doing those for many years. It was just this past December that I discovered your website, with all these new killer dvd's... OH BOY, talk about a kid in a candy shop! Your IMAX3, LowMax & Kick Max were the 1st 3 that I bought and boy do they give you a run for your money. I just in these past few weeks have been able to keep up with all you die-hards and not have to find my lungs on my living room floor somewhere afterwards!!! I love it! And I have an abundance more to choose from! My copy of your Drill Max can wait... there's so much more to tackle.

Find peace in knowing your hard work is a source of blessing for so many people, that God has you in the palm of His hand, and as you're patient with yourself, you will continue to help others achieve their goals.:) :)
