Thank you my sweet friends!
Thank you so much for all of your prayers and thoughts during my first chemo day yesterday. That just means more to me than you know!
Besides being a very LONG day at the hospital, (we were there from 9am to 10pm) the treatment was quite comfortable. My IV started with Benadryl, anti-nausea meds and other meds to keep me comfortable and that relaxed me and made me quite sleepy. I was able to take short cat naps during the treatment.
The CT Scan on Wed. showed very small tumors on my omentum. You can look that up if you want.
My prayer request is that the chemo will knock the rest of the cancer out that couldn't be removed with surgery and that my side effects wil be mimimal, especially nausea ( my biggest fear!
)
We will drive back home today as I had heard that the 2nd or 3rd day is the worst day and I don't want to travel on the bad day!
I will most likely post another message on caring bridge sometime today if you want to know more.
Thank you my precious Cathe friends. Your care, concern, good wishes and prayers truly warm my heart! What a blessing you all have been!
Now...go workout extra hard for me!!
Much love and hugs to all!
