Two Workouts in One day

Dear Cathe,

It is great to have you in my life, motivating me towards greater fitness. It time restraints become a problem, is it ok to do two workouts in one day and resumed the regular schedule the next day? For example, for week two's rotation, Monday was Imax 3 and Tuesday's is GS chest and tricep. Since it is Tuesday, could i do imax 3 and GS today? If so, which should i do first?

Hi Yvonne! We often have times where we need to tweak programs to make them work. As long as you are fresh and focused for your second workout, this should not be a problem. If you can split them up and do one in the day and one in evening that would be best. If you have to do them back to back, do the one that you want to focus on the most first (ie: more cardio fitness focus, do Imax 3 first....greater strength improvements, do Gym Style tape first). If you are exhausted after the first tape and/or not feeling motivated for the second one, it might be better to pass on it or try to fit it in on another day rather than go through the motions to say you did it.
