Two raves & a pan -- share yours, please!

I love the product recommendations of fellow Catheites and thought I would share two recent raves and a pan of my own:

Non-fitness rave: Pacifica soaps and body butter. Stumbled upon these at Borders of all places and have fallen in love with their scents -- esp. Hawaiian Ruby Guava. Yum!

Fitness rave: the Gymboss -- friends on the cheetah check-in recently recommended this. This thing makes interval training SO easy. And it was a cheap enable, too. :) Love it!

Pan: Kraft Bagel-fuls (cream-cheese filled frozen "bagels"). Disgusting!

Got any raves or pans to share?

Fun thread!

Non-fitness rave: Simply Shabby Chic sheets from Target. They're so comfy and they stay cool during the summer. I've replaced EVERY sheet set I had with them.

Fitness rave: workout skirts! I'm actually wearing a skirt from Athleta right now.

Pan: my old puzzle mats! I've endured lots of shin splints and various other annoyances because of them. Thank goodness my new Pavi floor arrived today!!

I have a non-fitness rave: I just tried Nair Shower Power formula, and it's great! I haven't used a depilatory in over ten years, but I saw an ad and decided to give it a try. It was quick, easy, and my legs are very smooth. I may be a convert!

Fun thread!

Non fitness rave: Curly Girl! I finally broke down & tried the routine, can't believe I'm frizz free in July!

Fitness rave: after years of ignoring them, I just re-discovered Otomix's clothes, they're adorable!

Pan: Shear Genious. Loved it last year. This year it's too contrived & stupid (so far anyway).

Cool!

FITNESS RAVE: my Precor elliptical! LOVE it.

NONFITNESS RAVE: Alison Krauss and Robert Plant together in concert. Great show.

PAN: the new Indiana Jones movie. Awful.

Oh what fun!

NONFITNESS RAVE: Chanel's Inintiable mascara--I spelled that wrong, it starts with an "I' though. It makes your lashes look so long and lush you think you are wearing falsies.

FITNESS RAVE: MBT's...these shoes have saved my arse so many times when I cannot stand the impact..they are ugly but so cushy.

PAN: Anything that involves "The Hills" and the "actors" in that stupid show.

Non-fitness rave: J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood novels

Another non-fitness rave: pandora.com and 101 - The Chillout Jukebox - Music Player online radio

Fitness Rave: OnFitness magazine

Pan: The Darkest Night, by Gena Showalter. This book started great, but by midway through, it was just a mess. The second book of the trilogy, The Darkest Kiss, is proving to be MUCH better, though. A huge surprise given the let-down of Book 1.

Non-fitness rave: Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-up. This stuff is a miracle! It really does blend with other manufacturers' haircolour products, is very easy and quick to use, and can be used every 3 weeks. You would think this was my natural haircolour -- nobody ever sees my roots and my hair never looks overprocessed. ;-) It has changed my life.

Fitness rave: My heart rate monitor. I was such a skeptic for 10+ years and now I am a total convert.

Pan: President's Choice Quatro Fungi frozen pizza. The picture on the box looked so good, then when I cooked it, it was the very worst stereotype of frozen pizzas. Yecchhh.

Just wanted to pop in and say.........

THANK YOU CATHY..........I checked out Gymboss and bought it immediately. It's EXACTLY what I need for teaching my interval class. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you - it's such a pain to keep looking at the clock or my watch and this sounds like it will make things so much easier.

Thanks again.
Marcia. ;-)

Marcia :: you're so welcome! But I have to credit our cheetah friends Sunny & Christine for sharing that find. It really is an excellent tool for intervals. I'm thinkin' you'll love it.

Tneah :: thanks for getting back on that. I must say, I am really intrigued by the idea that it's easier on your joints and back. I just dropped major coin at the eye doc of all places, or I might have run with the impulse. :) Will be good for now.

I had to add to this because you guys are the reason I find great stuff most of the time! And it's fun :)

Non-Fitness RAVE: Everyday Mineral Foundation. I only just received the sample I ordered after reading about them here. The stuff is amazing! First of all, you get free samples (3 foundations, 1 blush, 1 concealer) so it was very easy to find a foundation color that suited me. The color is wonderful, the coverage (along with the concealer) is THE VERY BEST I've ever tried for my acne and acne scars. I haven't worn makeup in a really long time due to my acne, but this feels good; it's light, it's silky, and yet it covers so very nicely. There's no itching, no settling into lines, no breakouts, nada. If you've been disappointed by mineral makeup in the past, I'd give this a shot.

Fitness Rave: Classical Stretch. I've had mono all summer and only recently have gained the energy to stand for more than 5 minute at a time. I started doing these programs because they're short. They're not "hard" but they stretch you in a very different way and you get core strengthening in there as well. They just feel good. Miranda is a little quirky and chatty, but I like her.

Pan: BriteSmile 5-minute whitening kit. Awful, awful, awful. The tray that comes with it is a single, connected tray for the top and bottom teeth. They don't come anywhere near fitting both teeth at the same time! And without being able to have them conform to your own teeth, they're not going to fit! Stupid idea. The whitening gel itself did absolutely nothing (and is supposed to work by brushing the gel onto your teeth with a brush as well).
