two most critical cathe videos for a total muscle/cardio hit?

i'm looking into muscle max after reading some posts. i already have butts & gutts and high step circut. what two cathe dvds can you recommend to complete my rotation?

i figured muscle max will help for an overall body workout- butts & gutts for the weak zones (hehe) and i don't know what else. can you help me fill in the blanks?

i'd like to get some nice shoulders/arms and great legs that aren't too big. i'm naturally lean- so i don't think that will happen... but. ;)

any help, advice would be great. i'm keeping it down to two videos new videos right now because i'm about to get the club step too- so, i'm watching the cash.

okay, thanks guys! you're super! :)

I'd vote for Muscle Max and either the Step Blast/SJP dvd or the Imax2/Cardio&Weights dvd, both have good pure cardio workouts and another cardio/weight workout. The SB/SJP dvd also has alot of great premixes.

I love them all, all that I have so far that is. I am building my collection too.

BodyMax2 has great step cardio and great upper body work. Nice ab routine too. It also has super premixes that allow you choose just cardio, just upper body (2 sets), a bootcamp workout, a just cardio and leg workout, etc. I think this one is a little light on leg work, but you do have B & G for that. BodyMax2 packs a lot of good stuff on one dvd. A lot of bang for your buck.

MuscleMax is a great total body weight workout. It has wonderful premixes also allowing you to choose just upper or just lower body workouts, etc.

I know it is so hard to decide. I often want them all too. Have you seen the Ultimate Guide to Cathe workouts yet? All the workouts are ranked according to complexity, intensity, enjoyment, etc. You will find a link on the Ask Cathe Forum or on the homepage.

Hope this helps!
Sandra

I forgot all about Body Max 2. I think I'll have to change my response to Muscle Max and Body Max 2 for all the reasons stated above!

thanks everyone!

you're right- i want to get all her videos. i'd love to be able to do some of her rotations she posts on the forum, but i'd end up spending at least $500. i know eventually i will spend that sort of money on her videos... (i've already spent a bundle on equipment and vids) but all at once would hurt!

so now i have body max 2 coming, s&h series, b&g, high step circut, muscle max, and jari love's 3 video set. i think that should hit all my muscle groups and if i swap them around with my other videos it should keep me from getting bored for awhile.

oh, since i joined the forum i also am into sean o'malley (cardio coach)- so i have his mp3s and i'm about to do #4 on my elliptical for the first time. wish me luck! :)

RE: two most critical cathe videos for a total muscle/c...

Have you checked the club step that Cathe sells? She has a package that has the step and 3 dvds--Imax 2/Cardio & Weights, Imax 3, & Step Blast/Step, Jump, & Pump for $170. I don't know how much you were planning to spend, but this is a great deal.:)
