Turbo Jam, cardio party..

I just saw a commercial on tv today for this workout, who has it and how is it? Is it worth the cashola????

It looks like a lot of fun and the music sounds pretty good too, does it work your abs like it says it does?

I love it. Fun, fun. There's a link on the Video Fitness page under "Bargains" that gets you 20% off. The music is great and Chalene is wonderful. Hope this helps.
 
I have Cardio Party and Cardio Mix 2. I like CP better than the other one. Both are shorter (about 40 min.) workouts and intermediate intensity. They are NOT Cathe intensity but they are a lot of fun to do and the music is great.

I ordered the fat blaster series. It is fun. It is a lot of kickbox type moves. The music is good and Chalene is pretty motivating. Today after I finished High Step Challenge I did a 30 minute Turbo Jam cardio party. The time goes by fast. The moves are not to difficult.I saw it on Tv but wasn't sure I would like it but I do. It is different and a nice change and good to add to my rotations.
I still prefer Cathe's workouts but sometimes I need a change of pace.

When I go to the beachbody website they only show one cardio party...how many cardio 40-50 minute workouts are there?

There are three Cardio Pary workouts. There is also also a Kick Punch and Jam. (similar to the cario parties) , a cardio party remix, (I am not sure how long that one is)She has a 20 minute ab workout with 10 minutes standing and 10 minutes on the floor. It really does get into those abs! She is lower in intensity than Cathe but if you really put your all into it your heart rate can get up there. If you end up ordering it and don't like it--they do have great resale on e bay!
 
The Cardio Party Remix and Booty Sculp & abs (the live workouts) are 30 minutes each one. I love Turbo Jam. The Cardio Party 3 is a 51 minute workout. The Cardio Party 1 and 2 are 45 minutes long.

Which workouts are your favorites?? I am thinking of buying a cardio party workout off ebay...what would you suggest.

How are you doing? I have all the Turbo Jam workouts, but love the newest series the best. Kick,Punch & Jam and Fat Blaster are my faves right now. I haven't gotten a chance to do Cardio Party 3 yet, but it looks good too.

Chalene is in between Janis Saffell & Cathe in intensity IMO. Comparing kickbox workouts of course. The music is excellent too. I highly recommend them

The new series is Called the Maximun Results, and they are more advance that the previous versions. I love the Fat Blaster, it is interval training and you can kick up the intensity or lower depending on your day, it is 30 minutes, but is great cardio for days that you lift or you can do the four turbos again for a great cardio workout. I love Cardio party mix 3 also for steady cardio, Kick, Punch and Jam it is less dancy and more athletic. I love the new series the best.

Beachbody does not have the Maximum results workouts on the Home Beachbody web site..you have to go to the "Other Products" Pull down menu to the upper right of the web page to find the maximum results workouts.

The CP 3, KP&J, TT3 and Fat Blaster are more intense than the before workouts. My favorite workouts of the new set are KP&J and Fat Blaster. All the cardio workouts (KP&J, FB,CP1,2,3, the 20 minutes workout and the cardio party remix) are awesome. I pefer the Cathe's workouts for weight training.

I consider you the top expert on kickboxing on this forum, If you say it is good, it is good! Do you feel like you got a great ab workout after your done working out?

So how do the Maximum TJ's compare to the Tae bo workouts that you love?

I know that I have heard many people compare the TJ's to Cathe's KPC, are the turbo's like Kick max intervals?
 
I have all of the turbo jam workouts and like them. The last cardio party (mix 3) i believe is harder, and faster than the others. Plus with the kickboxing gloves, it's definitely harder. Her weight training, or turbo sculpting definitely isn't CAthe. Since I"m 47 now, 75% of my max hr is 130. I can definitely hit that with a turbo jam workout. If you are younger, it may not be as hard for you. I feel like you definitely can work the abs if you really put your mind into the muscle, as Cathe says. Especially the obliques (not so much the lower abs). I never really like Tae Bo...too jerky, never felt it was safe or well cued for that matter. Chalene is definitely a nice change of pace. Hope this helps you out. I have not tried the turbo fat blaster dvd yet. That will be next!
 
Thank you but I am not an expert. TJ is not as intense as the TAEBO advanced live or KPC but they are fun, fun workouts. Since the first set of TJ came out I had already convinced myself that it would join my other workout videos in the corner gathering dust.I look forward to working out everyday.

I want to order these but I DREAD ordering from Beachbody again. (Terrible service, lost packages, overcharging, workouts WEEKS after ordering!) I heard they were going to be on QVC this month; does anyone know if that is true or just a rumor? I love ordering from QVC and HSN - their customer service is excellent.
