My MIL is here for the weekend. She bought a crib for me. I'm not getting anything fancy/pricey. I only want something that will last a few years for the crib stage. Although the one I got says the back can be used as a full size headboard. It is the Graco lauren crib in espresso. Target carries it but they were out and they are in NO targets for like 3 hours away. So I found it on cribs.com and they have free shipping and I found a $15 coupon code too. So even though cribs.com was a bit more the coupon made it equal to buying at target with tax and it'll be delivered to my door. I hope it shows up in good condition. The only possitive to buying local is you can return/exchange it pretty easy. But I read reviews that if something is missing Graco is really good about just shipping it to you and cribs.com say they have an easy exchange policy. so we'll see.
My mom just sent me a box of newborn diapers from seventh generation. I really like their organic diapers. I plan to buy a box (4-5 bags in a box) every so often and have a bunch when the baby comes. So I have a good start. She also included a starter kit for some brand of organic baby products -just little travel/sample sizes.
Feels like Christmas! lol.
My MIL also got the crib mattress.. ok WHEN did they become SO expensive????? I could swear I got my last two for only $15-20? now the cheapest was almost $50? Some go up to a hundred or more. I'm blown away. Well we got the $50 one cause it seemed as good to me and I didn't want her spending any more $$ but she insisted on getting it. I think it'll be fine. sheesh for $50 you'd hope so? but it was the cheapest one.

Hey everyone! AF started this AM so this month is out but I am not sad (not too much anyway). I am excited for my next cycle. Plus my first cycle off BC I only had an 8 day LP and this cycle was 11 days so my LP is lengthening on its own meaning my body is getting back to normal (whatever that is.) DH confessed that he is a little sad that I wasn't but we talked about it. He's funny in the sense that he acts like this is no big deal but then when I tell him AF started he gets sad. Men are funny like that. We went to some garage sales today and saw a ton of cute baby stuff! I didn't buy anything cause I didn't want to jinx it. There were some nice bouncers and play yards that were practically brand new. One family had girls clothes from newborn to like 2T all packed up and washed and sorted and labeled in boxes with three car seats and two strollers for $250. I wished we could have bought it and packed away but DH and I said "watch we would end up pregnant next month and found out later that it was a boy!" Oh well, hopefully someone will buy it.
Off to hang out with some friends tonight and relax! Have a good weekend ladies!
