Tried Leaner Legs is Strong Legs similar

My CTX came last week and I just got around to trying Leaner Legs last night! YOWZA, great workout!!! I have a knee that sometimes get sore with workouts, but this workout didn't seem to bother it. Great pace and concentration on form! I'm feeling it today! So now that I'm hooked on LL is Strong Legs pretty similar? Thanks!

Colleen

Hi Colleen!! Well, that depends. In SLA there are squats, lunges, step ups, sit and stands, pile' squats, and of course, abs. That's where the similarity ends. Cathe uses much heavier weights in SLA and it's slower with fewer reps to really build muscle. LL, I feel, is more for endurance, while SLA is more for strength and power. Oh yeah, she also does deadlifts and calves. There's also floor work in SLA. Out of the two I like SLA best, but LL is an awesome workout no matter what:)! Hope this helps to answer your question!! Have fun with CTX!! They're wonderful!

Thanks Aimee for that "heads up" on SLA and LL:)

I would like to slim down my thunder thighs - which of these would be most effective for achieving this. Should I be going for endurance or more for strength?

Thanks

Sandra

Hi Sandra!! Hmmmmm..... I'll tell you what happened to me because the two times I did a PS rotation, I got two different results. The first time I did PS, I used a 45lb barbell and 15lb dumbells. My legs slimmed down and my butt lifted up!! It was great:)! The second time, I upped my weight to 55lb barbell, and 20lb dumbells. My thighs got bulky. I didn't like the look. I'm only 5'1" so my legs looked really overpowering!! I guess sometimes more is not better. When I did LL (I've done a CTX rotation twice also), I never noticed any size difference in my legs. However, my muscle endurance skyrocketed!! With LL both times I used a 35lb barbell and 12-15lb dumbells. All results are individual, and of course, I'm sure my diet would help alot if I kept it cleaner;-) , maybe even with LL. But that's how it happened for me. I hope I helped ya' some. Let me know what ou decide to do!!

Hi Aimee

Thanks for the info. You are a goddess - I can't lift anywhere near what you are lifting (I've only been excersing regularly for about 5 months). I'm leaning towards SLA.

Thanks again

It is a great video!! Thanks for the compliment by the way! No one's ever called me that before:)!! Not even my husband hmmmmmm.....;-)I may have to say something to him! He he he. One more thing about SLA, in the floor work she uses a bodybar, but a barbell, ankle weights, or even no weight works. And believe me you'll feel it just fine without any weight!!!! Good luck on it!! I hope you get great results too!!
