Tri-O-Plex bars

Hi, I just want to thank everyone that recommended the Tri-O-Plex bars in the thread on protein bars a couple weeks ago. They are sooo good and I can't believe the amount of protein in them! I have a new favorite. And I get 25% off for being a member at the Healthfood store I go to.

I'm gonna go pick up more today!
 
yeah, we talked a lot about the trioplex yummies!! I finally tried the cinnamon raisin roll and it was super!! PB/choc chip is still my favorite, though.:9

So glad you liked them!!! .. If you like raisins the cinnamon raisin roll one is pretty awesome too.

It sounds like you have a good source for getting them at a good price too. I usually order mine by the box through Netrition.com and have been pleased with their prices as well as their service.

Does anyone know where you can get a box of mixed flavors online? I emailed jerseyjoe.com (where I usually get mine) but they said they couldn't mix them up!! Seems to me like they could just open a couple of boxes and mix them up and sell them that way--the Trioplex variety pack!!!:)
 
I don't know about ordering them online in a mixed up box, but maybe if you go to the health food store they will charge you the box price for 12 bars. They let me where I go - The Better Health store.
 
Does anyone know whether GNC carries these? Do you know a store that does? Has anyone tried the Balance bars? Sorry for all the questions.:) :)

I don't know if GNC carries Trioplex.. I usually don't shop there as I find their prices aren't as competitive.


I do eat Balance Bars. They are pretty good but alot of people feel they are a bit high in sugar (don't know if you are concerned about that) My favorite one is the Yogurt Honey Peanut. I think the nutritionals are around 200 calories and 15 gms of protein, little or no fiber. The best price I have found on these are at Target.. you can buy them by the box or individually there.

I went into a local GNC store about a month ago looking for them and they did not have them--don't know if that's chain-wide, but probably. I've only tried a carb-select/protein plus Balance bar. It was pretty good, but I'm still not really satisfied w/the nutrition content. Too many calories/not enough protein!!!:eek:
 
I haven't found a bar yet. I wanted to try one before I orderd some. I see the balance ones at Walmart and Target. I should check there to see about the tri-o-plex bars.

I live in Colorado and my GNC carries Trioplex bars. I haven't seen a mixed box though.

They carry them at The Better Health store. I'm in Michigan. There are two locations in my area, but I don't know if it's a national change. I believe they are associated w/ The Vitamin Outlet so maybe you can get them there as well.
 
I am in Mid-Missouri and the GNC at the mall had the Tri-o-plex bars, but I don't think they had "all" of the flavors that everyone has talked about.

I'm not sure if GNC carries them or not. Their products seem to be overpriced so I don't shop there. I have seen them at the "Vitamin Shoppe" and "Smoothie Factory" and "Smoothie King" (not sure if some of those are nation-wide chains or if they are local to the DFW area). I've also seen them at some local supplement shops. I think if you ask most vitamin/supplement places, they will order them.

I have tried Balance bars and I like them. But they seem to have more sugar and less protein so I still opt for the trioplex ones.

I swear the trioplex people should pay me a commission as much as I promote their product :)

I know there is not a "Smoothie Factory" or a "Smoothie King". I have never heard of them. Not sure about a "Vitamin Shoppe" though. I will just have to look around this weekend. Maybe I can find a few and if I like them I will just order over the internet and it would be easier. Thanks a lot!! Have a good weekend.:) :)

I'm in Illinois and the GNC has these bars. There's a GNC in every mall near me just about.
