Treadmill advice - Pacemaster Gold Fold or others...

Anybody have a treadmill they love? I looked at the Pacemaster Gold Fold (maybe Gold Elite?) I like it b/c it goes to 15% incline and folds up as well, and does not have the big bars on the side. Since it is a ton of $$$, I want to be sure I get something I like. Ideally, I would buy a stairmaster/stepmill, but those are about 2-3 times the cost (the ones where the stairs recycle). Thanks in advance!

I have had the Pacemaster Gold Elite for a few years now...and I love it. It has a heart rate monitor plus some pre-loaded workouts that I just discovered and have had a great time exploring. I always suggest this site for people looking to buy a treadmill:

Good Luck!

RE: Treadmill advice - Pacemaster Gold Fold or others.....

I bought a Pacemaster Pro Elite about 8 years ago and love it! It still runs perfectly. The high incline is great for doing my cardio coach workouts and it changes settings quickly. I also like all the pre-programmed workouts (5K, 10K, intervals, hills, random etc..).

My treadmill does not fold up and has the bars on the side which I like for extra safety when doing fast sprints or stepping on the side rails for a quick water break.

True makes very good treadmills as well but I wanted to spend a little less so the Pacemaster was my choice. You won't regret it.

I have the pacemaster gold elite (but it doesn't fold) and I absolutely love it. It definatlely does everything you could want. I've had it a little over a year and use it about 6 days a week and my husband uses it about 3-4 days. It's a great treadmill!

Good luck,
Aggie

My Pacemaster is 12 years old and still going strong (replaced the walking belt after 10). I have a guy come in and tune it up every couple of years, and he thinks highly of the Pacemaster brand.

Wow - thanks to all! Looks like this is a good brand for sure. Probably more practical than a stepmill too...
