Happy Thursday Everyone!!!
So yeah Stolz got his stitches out yesterday, but he still isn’t allowed to lick his paw for 3 days because of some sores that developed around his toenails. Poor boy after being sooooo good about not tearing up his bandages he had to wear his Victorian dog collar last night at bed time. He wants to lick that paw so badly that if one of us can’t literally watch him every moment then he has to wear the collar. Today my dd and I are going to try and take turns. (she’s on duty now) We don’t want to put that collar on him unless we have to, he looks so pitiful like “why do you guys hate me soo much? I love you”. Any ways the paw has healed real nice the Dr. said that it usually is such a hard place to get all healed up but he looks great. Now we can stop the antibiotics which have been making his tummy sick any ways. It’s funny how much Mothering I still have to do with all the critters in my life. I worry about them as much as I do my own kids, yikes what a freak I am admitting to being.
Today is CW for me although I may change that to PUB because my legs are still sore from my run yesterday and PLB the day before. Who knows what I’ll end up doing but it will be good and fun I’m sure.
Michelle- Get a stability ball it makes a huge difference and is so much fun. Well except for the occasional rolling off and away part. My hamstrings are what is killing me from the ball work in PLB and I used to do the same type of moves on the step with PS-SLA weekly it really is a difference with the ball. Okay I’m gadget girl sooo maybe I’m biased.
Smiley2- Wow what a day you had yesterday!! Are you alive today? I love days like that when the world seem like it needs to be conquered and you’re the women to do it. We need a special shirt for those days with a great big “S” on it.
Bita- I will say that it was you and Michelle that got me thinking about not making planned rest days and just waiting for my body to tell me when. I suppose I was of the mentality that taking planned rest days was a must even though my body was telling me different. I feel so much better now besides I’m usually pretty good about balancing my w/o’s between hard to easy days any ways. BTW your family sounds so cool. What great parents you must have and obviously are yourself.
Robyn6002- Our oldest has her own home here on the ranch. We live on 40 acres with 2 homes we just bought this all last April. My dd goes to a local college, trains horses and drives to LA for acting classes on the weekends. It is so cool that she can have her own home and grow and develop more independently but yet still be so close to Ma and Dad if she needs us. She has us all over once a week for dinner so she is building quite a repertoire of meals too. The gym is over here and she spends a lot of time here any ways. Its nice though I don’t ever have to see the messes she leaves there all over at her house. Lol.
Janice- Don’t get to excited about me wanting to run races it’s not like I would be really racing unless you think beating the crap out of a snail is considered racing. I would only be competing with myself hoping I would win. Lol. Btw what a sweetie your dh is, taking you shopping and being such a love. Although his valentine is pretty damn good and deserves all that she gets.
Hello to everyone else,
Debbie
