Training for a Mud Run

Cathe,

First I would like to say thank you for creating such awesome workouts!! I have been religiously doing your strength training ME, MM,SS,PP and GS styles, legs & glutes& B&Gs and drill max since November and have seen such a major change in my body. I have gone from a 7 to a 4 (soon to be a 2) and feel fantastic. I will be celebrating my 44th bday Tuesday and currently training for a 4.5 mile obstacle/run in South Carolina. I am currently running 3 miles 3xs aweek and incorporate upper/lower rotations too along with drill max, but was wondering if you could give me some sort of rotation or suggest what else to incorporate(what other dvds to purchase):D to have me well prepared for this Marine Style challenge. I am on a team with three guys and our goal is to finish the race within 1 hour

Greatly Appreciated!!!

Not Cathe, but I suggest Cathe's Hiit DVD for increasing your cardio capacity, and, if you want another Drill Max-type of workout, I recommend her High Step Challenge and/or Original Boot Camp (which you might already have, because it's sold on the same DVD as Muscle Endurance).

Good luck! I'm in my 40's too, and in the best shape of my life since discovering Cathe's workouts several months ago.

You'll have a blast!! My daughter & I just did the Philly Merrill run. I'd love to see a rotation/suggestion for this too. For me the hardest thing was pulling myself up over the high walls. Good luck!
