Tragic Day here

Oh Ellie, I also am so sorry for your loss and your friend's deep tragedy. Thoughts and prayers for strength and healing.

I can't imagine what that poor man must be going through. He's lucky to have friends like you to help get him through. It can't be easy for anybody involved. Lots and lots of hugs!!!

Update

Thank you all for your support during this terrible time.
My friend is still in critical condition with some pretty serious injuries. We are praying for him.
Unfortunately I had to tell the boys this morning before school because my phone was ringing off the hook last night well past midnight. Apparently some parents allow their 7 year old to watch the 5 o'clock news and they recognized me. I needed to tell my DS before he heard about it at school. Especially if someone said, "I saw your mom crying on TV". Who the hell let's their kids watch the news at this age??????

On a more positive side, the support I recieved from friends, family and community was overwhelming. Since DH travels so often they were concerned that I was alone during this. DH happened to be local yesterday so he was able to come home. But people were here and calling to help us out.

The sadness I feel today is still so overwhelming and deep. I am doing my best to get thru. But honestly it's very hard. Not only are my children so deeply affected but hundreds of children in our community as well. I need to be strong for them too. Remember, it takes a villiage......

Thank you for your continued prayer and support
