Traci Long Training

For those of you that have these work outs, how good are they? I viewed them on Traci's website, and they look good, but I'm not sure if I'd do them or not. I'm looking to change things up a bit.

I'm thinking that changing things up might help me jump start my weight loss.

Any thoughts?

I have the set of her DVDs, but I only ran through them once back in the Spring. I do remember really liking them though. I just got caught up with Cathe's stuff and forgot about Tracie.

My daughter does Tracie's workouts with some regularity, and she really likes her. There's a good deal of functional training, and even the aerobic spurts are very sports-like, encouraging a wide range of movement.

I'll have to plan a Tracie rotation in the near future. :)

I was a long time Tracey fan so I ordered the whole set of TLTs. I did them a couple of times but they never really clicked for me. I found them awkward for some reason. After holding on to them for some time I finally traded them because I NEVER felt like doing them.

I would say the same as Phyllis. The tone of them is very, very low key. I think the exercises are very good. SHe uses the paper plate to be able to slide your legs forward and back for lunges. But there is something about them that just misses and doesn't make me excited to do them

That's the main reason I haven't gone ahead an ordered them. I'm very picky when it comes to my work outs (so says Beanie ;)) and she doesn't think I'd like them.

I personally like all but Finding Your Core. They are very functional and the time goes by quickly.

If you have Netflix, you can rent them and see if you like them. They are really different from Cathe workouts, which for me is a good change of pace, but that said, you really might not care for them.
