Today is NOW's Love Your Body Day

My boobs. I'm 47 and my c-cups are still as perky as ever. Sometimes, when I'm looking in a full-length mirror I pretend nothing else exists... I wonder if the rest of me will EVER catch up. Of course, now that I've said it out loud i have to live in fear. Men have been remarking on my curvy rear since I was 10 but most of them haven't actually seen what IT really looks like and it's no favorite of mine.

My forearms are my favorite part, why can't my whole body be like them?? So little fat, nice definition, a decent amount of "veiny" from lifting.

Next would be my shoulders, and I'm starting to feel ok about my upper arms (that has taken a lifetime).

Its sad that this is so hard for alot of us, isn't it?

Ok, here goes! My favorite body part is my pecs ( but not including "the girls") I love doing chest work and I'm pleased with the definition I've been able to get in that area over the last couple of years. I love wearing v-neck shirts now, there is alot of cuts and muscle.

Whew! I think I'm going to have to go look at the back of my legs now to keep my head from swelling up too much!! hahah!

My arms. My shoulders, my upper back. I have pretty good definition and they are toned all the way around.

Even my stomach I like, but only in clothes!

I know! We need to appreciate ourselves more!

Maybe we should tack on an addendum to this thread that says that we can't make any disparaging comments about ourselves here -- only good things! :D

I love my curves. Being a mom, I have gained a bit of weight that won't come off, but I absolutely love where and how I gained it - Man! I feel like a woman!

My stomach comes in a very close second and my arms/shoulders a close third. I don't like to think about some of the other stuff so much. ;]

I agree so much with what you said - and I like the thought of only saying things that bring yourself and not down. We teach our kids that, so we should apply it to how we look at ourselves, too. :)

Bragging ...

My earlobes! I have great earlobes -- not creased or wrinkled or stretched out from too-heavy earrings ... :D

My eyebrows...I like how they are furrowed together in a semi uni-brow fashion.....Bert from Sesame Street. It's from being a chronic crab arse!:p

Personally, Beavs, I remember liking your smile.

I guess I'm going to say my boobs. I married a leg man and he likes my full and natural (and not too saggy for the size) DDs well enough, but it's a shame he's not a boob man. He's a leg man. My legs are o.k. but were better before the babies.

I love this! It's nice to go through and make a positive mental checklist instead of a negative one. :)

I like my shoulders (they are nice and defined), my leg muscles (caught a glimpse of my quads in downward dog and they look goooood) and my height (5'9"). I love being tall!

Ditto everything Patti said! I'm over 5' 8", with most of my height in my legs and I love that I have long legs. In fact, I'd love to be even taller! And yup, I have great shoulder definition too. No need for shoulder pads around here, all I really need is a few boatneck sweaters and off-the-shoulder dresses!

What fun!!

I have great hair, I love my light brown (almost yellow) eyes, and I love my butt!

I have a good amount of definition in my arms, and now in my quads also. I've been working on my legs so hard ever since seeing Cathe's legs at the road trip in July, and my quads are really starting to pop!

my eyes

They change color depending on my mood. Mostly brown. That would be my chocolate meter. If I haven't had enough chocolate and I'm really angry they turn hunter green.

So . Look out. If you see the green monster.

For real I didn't make that up.
