Timesaver DVD

I just wanted to say that I think the Timesaver DVD is awesome! It is perfect for the holiday times when I am definitely short on time! I think the bonus footage really adds to it and makes for some tough workouts (pushups in workout 1, yikes) I debated a lot about getting this one and I am so glad I did.

I agree with you Angela! This is the best thing ever! I'm a huge CTX fan because I don't have a lot of time to workout during the week and this is just perfect!!

CTX was what I always reached for during the week and now I have even more great options with the Timesaver. I am very happy with it!! :)

This is one of my favorites as well. I begged for another CTX series and this is very very close. You can make this as long or as short as you want.:9

I can't wait to do this one! But, I told myself before I add this to my rotation I must do all of the other ones in their entirety. I know that once I do the timesaver, I'll probably never do the other BB workouts again! I just love short workouts because it makes it easier to fit in yoga.

Hubby & I did all the Upper Body segments using the Workout Blender option on all 5 workouts to work, Chest, Shoulders, Back, Tris & Bis! It was great and sooo easy to program it, even having to skip from one workout to the next. We included all the ABS/Core work from each also. What an awesome workout it was! I LOVED all the new footage that is included and the music! I am not one to usually do mix & match very much but so glad we decided to give this a whirl. GREAT DVD!

Ok so Debbie H did you have to go back and forth or did you program it I htought of doing this but was not sure how so you use the workout blender iiwll try when i get home
Lisa
I did timesaver #5 alll legs and cursed at Cathe a few times telling her enough too much already but I did it!

It was sooo easy! I first went to Workout #1 and used the Workout Blender option and for instance, programed in Warm-up, then the tricep extensions, push-ups, Tricep Overhead press & Kickbacks. We would then do THAT workout. As soon as we were done, we would hit Workout #2, and program in Back, Superman & ABS on the ball, do that program and go onto Workout #3, preceding thru all 5 Workout Blender programs ending with a CD/stretch from #5. Does this make sense? It is very quick to program each workout as soon as you complete one. I absolutely love this option! I am dealing with a knee/leg injury so I have to take it easy on LB work so this was great to pick & choose what I CAN DO right now. Let me know what you think. BTW, the AB work is awesome on this DVD!

I tried programming each at once but couldn't. Is there any way to preprogram the upper body segments without starting and stopping after each segment?

Shopaholic!

Do you mean program all 5 workouts together? If so, no, you can only program within a workout with the Workout Blender. But, you can program up to 6 different segments in each workout. Does that make sense? After I program Workout #1 and we do it, it will automatically go back to the Blender page and I program in Workout # 2 segments that I want to do. It literally takes seconds to do it. Let me know if I made this clear enough.

RE: Lisa!

Hi,
Your instructions are clear, I'll have to try it. i just wish there were chapter numbers like ctx though so we could program the whole workout at once, instead of stopping 4 times. Oh well. How long did the workout take?

Hmmm?

Not real sure how long it took as we didn't time it. I am GUESSTIMATING an hour but not positive. I will try to remember to time it next time we do it and let you know. You will be surprised how fast you can program it even with the four stops. LOVE this feature! Have FUN!

I have been using the TS DVD more than any other. I did the step portion from workout #1 and all of workout #5. It came to about 70 minutes. During my first set of step ups, my legs were on fire. I thought "this is going to be a long }( workout." It actually went very quickly and I look forward to my next leg workout.
I will probably do the KPC/upper combo tonight.
