Thursday night--dinner & some fun?

I know Jodi posted a thread before, but I want a head count. Who's in for dinner & maybe a little wine Thursday night? I can make some plans for us if you'd like--I know a few great restaurants nearby that'd be much better than Uno's or a diner.

Reply if you want me to go for it, & once I have a head count I'll make some reservations. :)

Hi, Laura. Not sure what the plans, if any, are for Thursday night yet....maybe just relaxing, maybe ordering in and hanging with friends, maybe going out. I can't say for sure yet, but I'll keep you posted!

The days are tickin' down!!! WOO HOO!

Thanks for offering to make plans, Laura.

I'm still not sure whether I'm coming in on Thursday or Friday yet, but I'll let you know when it gets a little closer.

My cousin lives close by and will be coming to see my sister and me. I'm not sure if she'll want to hang with the group or not. I will check with her and see what's up.

Better than a diner?! Whatchootalkin'bout Laura?

LOL! Well, better than the diner where we ate last year anyway. ;)

Seriously, I figured we could do some good Italian in Cherry Hill......OR there are actually some excellent diners in CH too, & I'm always up for some good deep fried food the day before I work my butt off. :p

From a local who appreciates decent food, there are two restaurants within 10 minutes of Four Seasons that offer food comparable to going into Center City Philadelphia (without making the 25-minute trek to Cherry Hill, which is a rough drive this time of year around dinner time with the early shore and commuter traffic):

Carolina Blue (*****) in Pitman http://www.carolinabluerestaurant.com/index.html
Terra Nova (****) in Sewell http://www.terranovawineanddine.com/

Anyway...just a couple suggestions from someone who lives near "Cathetown" who is always in search of good victuals!

Oh, and I forgot, if you would like someplace near the hotel that is not the usual "mall chain fare", try:

Filomena Lakeview http://filomenalakeview.com/

It is less than 5 minutes from the hotels (turn right out of the driveway onto 41, proceed about 1/2 mile to light at Cooper St. (note that the road is called Cooper St. to the right and Almonesson Rd. to the left) and turn right. Filomena will be on your right in about 1/4 mile.

The food is pretty good and there is live music most nights.

Dinner Thursday night..

I would love to go to a really great restaurant on Thursday night. My sister in law will be flying in on Thursday about 6:00 p.m. Thanks

Sharon

Awesome, thanks Curt! OK ladies, check 'em out & pick one. Maybe we'll do a poll later.

Curt, I hope you can join us (that's if you can hang w/the big girls ;)).

I plan to get in Thursday, but haven't made plane reservations yet -- so don't know what time I'll be there. If it fits in with the plans you all make, I might be interested in joining you. A lot will depend on how tough a flying day it is. I guess what I'm saying, is I'm interested, but please don't count me in for sure at this point.

I would love to join in on the fun... I'm arriving Thursday night from Connecticut and would love to begin the festivities as soon as possible ( I would be meeting you all for the first time... hope that's okay). I'm so excited!!!
