Morning all...

Just getting us started. I overslept this morning because the battery in my alarm clock died, so it's still saying 8 o'clock. Oh well. I guess I'll Bootcamp it tonight.

Morning Shelly and all that follow!

I took today and tomorrow off so I actually slept in until 5:45! It felt wonderful! :) ..

I need to catch up with all that happened around here yesterday...will bbl

Deb

Morning everyone. Just got done with my date with Coach Sean. I am a sweaty mess. I did volume 5. BBL

Good morning, all!
Just a quick "hello" before I do HSC so we can leave town. Great news! My new computer is installed AND DH's IT guy was able to salvage almost everything off of my old hard drive. Thank God!!!
Also, as I said yesterday, my new washer is installed, AND the furniture company said they will replace the red chair! All's well that ends well, I guess.

Now we can go have a nice couple of days at the beach at our conference. Thank you, as always, for your support!

I'll catch up with personals when I get back this weekend!
Big {{{HUGS}}} to you all!

Hi,

Just finished reading all the "Melty" happenings from yesterday..I took off both days for vet appointments, if you can believe that ! Keegan goes this morning for his last "puppy" shot. I will mention the puking, although he has kept down his last few meals ( thank God!), but seems a little off his food..then Kelsey goes tomorrow. We decided not to bring them together, because Kelsey is terrifed of the vet and she made Clancy be that way just by watching her when we took them together. Keegan has no fear and loves all the people in there. He thinks its a great adventure, while Kelsey thinks she is going into a torture chamber or something!

Robin:
I think you had the right to be grumpy! So many things going haywire around here..cars, washers, treadmills...we are being attacked by the "Machine Gremlins!" }( Push Pull sounds like a good one when you are really undecided..I would come to your party! only if you serve wings!

Peggie:
I am always amazed at how many workouts you do! How do you do a lunch workout?

Allison:
Isn;t it great when you get a good night's sleep? are you taking the supplements?

Shannon:
I like your upper body workout..may try that when I can;t pick a Cathe one to do. What will you do with all the blueberries? Which CC eliptical do you have? How long is it? I can hardly stay on mine for 20 minutes, I find it so boring!

Kristi:
Yea for the new washer! What kind did you get? Have you heard or seen those new steam dryers? Not sure about how you feel but I love new appliances! I actually "window shop" at my favorite appliance store and DH gets the jitters, thinking I will be ordering something to be delivered!

BG:
Tell me which CC you got, and how long it was.. Did you use those color zones to keep you in the HR that you were supposed to be in?

Tneah:
LOve Love Love the pic of Georgie! What a funny smile he has on! Your lunch sounds wonderful, especially the place! Can you give us a tiny hint on what the new product is?

Leanne:
Did you get the KB from Target? Did you get the one there with the workout that goes with it? I read something about this on the OD I think.. I am getting so bored waiting for STS that I may break down and get a KB, but want to start with something cheap!..I also am going to head out to Old Navy and see if they have any of those tanks with the bras built in to wear around the house..

Shelly:
What kind of things did you train the copier to do? Ha Ha.. I couldn;t resist!:+ Hope Sophie is better and you were able to get that workout in.

Lainie:
Our little Shoppping Fiend }( }( ..I am like you about Kohl's...it's no TArget! Do you have those spare washers and dryer hooked up? I would! When I lived in my apartment before getting married, I lived in a double with my DG and we had 2 sets of washers/dryers..it was heaven! With 2 kids you must be doing so much laundry, it could be done in half the time. Love the patio!

Well off to get something to eat before the vet apt..will check in with you lovely Meltie ladies later!

Deb ;-)

Good morning, loverlies!

I got up and did Butts and Gutts this morning. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. ;)

I got all my homework done last night! YAY! And my paper is awesome. I'm so proud of myself! I met with my "learning team" last night at the library to do our group work and then as they were leaving I decided to just stay and finish my paper. I knew if I went back home I'd putz around and not get to it until late. So I just bit the bullett and did it. And I was done in no time at all. Pretty cool.
Only a year and a half more....x( I can't believe I've been back in school for almost six months already! Time sure does fly!

Peggie--nice job with vol. 5. I don't have that one. Hmmm....

Deb--yay for taking days off! Good for you! I love all your doggie stories. I can't wait until I have more time at home so I can get a dog. I'm just not home enough right now. My cats are my saving grace, though. :) Oh, and Cardio Coach isn't specific to any machine--not like iTrains where they have specific workouts for different machines. Coach Sean uses perceived exertion, not specific numbers like Grace does so you can use whatever machine you want. I actually prefer to use Cardio Coach on the elliptical and Grace for my treadmill work.

Shelley--have fun with Bootcamp this morning! I hate oversleeping. x( I hope you're doing better today. Thanks for starting us off!

Ok, that's all the time I have. We're having a credit crisis at work so I have to write up a report for the big Boss Man and try and salvage my job. NOT fun. We'll see how the day goes. Yesterday afternoon was NOT good...

Good morning, everyone!

Shelley - it's just as well you didn't have to work out this morning. Bootcamp that early?? I can't even imagine.

Peggie - I did CC 5 last night too! Were you the lion or the gazelle? :p

Kristie - ahhh, a conference on the beach! Now that's the way to have a conference!

Deb - yay for days off work! And that's a good idea to separate the dogs' vet appointments. Like Allie said, all of the CC workouts can be used for any machine. I really don't like doing stationary cardio work at all, and yeah, the elliptical can be mighty boring. But honestly, I don't find it boring at all when I'm doing a CC. Sean takes my mind totally off of the fact that I'm just pedaling some dumb machine. }( Really though... his workouts do make me want to work harder instead of just using the elliptical as a clothes rack.

Allie - good for you on the paper!! What's it on? Were you at the library all night?

Robin - here's a special {{{{HUG}}}} for you today! And lots of positive vibes that you'll meet your goals, have fun at the beer bar thing, and be happy! :*

Tneah - let's see... yesterday BG and I were talking about a horse training method that uses how horses think to get the best results. A guy named Pat Parelli developed it, and it's really cool. Using that method really helps a person understand horses.

BG - no, we don't have anybody help us manage Dad's property. Just the family. It's really not a big deal. The horses are pretty self-sufficient and have plenty of pasture to graze all day. It takes a bit more work in the winter, but not much. The rest of the barn is primarily storage. And we don't do much with the property itself - no crops, livestock or anything. We just enjoy being out in the country.

Well, last night was CC 5. I had some trouble with the sprints. High speeds on the elliptical tend to irritate my hip flexor muscle. I started feeling it close to the end of challenge 2, so for the rest of the sprints, I increased resistance and lowered the speed, so I was doing more of a fast trek. It worked pretty well, and so far, so good this morning!

BBL for more!!

Morning from the West Coast All!:7

Yep, I am up...have no idea why, maybe because I slept in flannel PJ's last night, I was cold when I went to bed, but then woke up several times...no night sweats just hot. But still feel rested so that is good.

Deb, good call on keeping Keegan and Kelsey separate. You wouldn't want to terrified pups to deal with at the vets. And puppies find everything to be quite the adventure don't they?:7 We are such dorks, DH actually saved Georgies baby teeth...I keep meaning to put together a "Georgie baby book"...I know, but I never had kids so hey, I take all of my maternal stuff on poor Georgie the most loved Newfie in the universe!:D

Shannon, ouch, I have the same issue I think. Resting that flexor and not forcing a stretch has helped it though. Its getting better, at least I know its not my actual hip joint. You horse whisperer you!;)

Shelley, good morning chica!:) Hope to see you around more today! Bootcamp is one of Cathe's best in my opinion.

Peggy, way to go with your CC! I think I may have that one actually, might have to pull it out this morning since I have the elliptical on tap for my workout.

Kristi, glad your drama is coming to a close! We have a new clothes dryer with the steam feature, pretty cool. You can toss in wrinkled clothes and it smooths them out.

Allison, I bet your paper is awesome, good girl for working so hard on it...juggling school, the boy, workouts and work must be super hard, I think you do an outstanding job!:)

Hey to everyone else, will be back later of course....oh, I did a kettleball workout in my room on the boat last night, it was the one that came with my kettleball. 'The iron way" or something. It was pretty fun, although I hit the ceiling a few times doing those snatches. And the turkish getups and deck squats? My lower back literally would not allow me to do either one of them. I cannot bend like that...pathetic. What other kettleball workouts are there besides the one I did? I felt like it wasn't super intense, so there has to be other ones that are?

Happy Thursday, Melty Maidens!

Oh, I just checked yesterday's posts, and I had posted something when I got home from lunch yesterday afternoon, but it looks like it never actually got posted! UG! So I DID check in with you lovely ladies, but my post got lost in that vast cyberspace land! I did have a really nice time at lunch, and ended up ordering eggs, which were sort of healthy. I also got a ton of errands run yesterday.

Today I'm starting the last week of my variation of Strong Like a Bull, so I have PLB + abs on the agenda for this morning, and then later this afternoon we're meeting my SIL and niece to go boogie boarding.

I got a lousy night's sleep last night; DH (a total night owl) has been coming to bed at 3:00 in the morning, so I've been waking up at 3:00 and then I can't get back to sleep. I keep telling him that I'm going to lock the door, so he'll have to sleep downstairs on the couch. ;-)

Peggie -- Sorry about the hotel for the RT. :-( We'll definitely hang out all weekend long, though! :) What time are you getting in to NJ? I'm flying in on Thursday night so I can make the Friday morning step class, and should arrive at the airport around 5:15. If you're planning on going to the step class, then we'll all have to meet up so we can head over there together and hang out! Good for you on those two workouts yesterday! Your lunch yesterday sounded so good . . . but I've never heard of catfish tacos before!

Lainie -- In what I posted yesterday, I said that your patio looks wonderful! Mike and I also checked out those baby Jesus paintings, which were hysterical! They look like little muscle men. Your blog looks so awesome!

Shannon -- So any decision on what you're going to do about a new car? Are you enjoying those yummy blueberries? Frozen blueberries are also delicious in that Greek yogurt; mix them in and let them sit for a bit, and then add some honey or agave.

Kristi -- I am SOOO glad that things are going better! I posted something to you yesterday, but it got lost. I hope you can relax and enjoy some fun time with the family this weekend! {{{HUGS}}}!

Robin -- Glad that yesterday ended up going a bit better for you. Sometime a little meltdown can be really good to have. Glad you have a fun weekend planned -- and I hope you enjoy going out tonight with the folks from work! Wings and beer are both nice treats! ;-)

Allie -- Oh, your poor little tush is going to be sore today . . . but at least it'll be sore in some nice AC, right? Hooray for getting your paper done! The next 1 1/2 years really will go by quickly for you. I also kept meaning to tell you that it really is a great idea to be in college at your age since you now know what path you want to pursue. So many of my students come to college right after high school, and they wander around a bit, without any direction. These next three semesters will fly by for you! How has The Boy been? (Had to ask. ;-) )

Shelley -- So does the new copier also do laundry? ;-) If so, I may need to get me one. How are you doing, babe?

Deb -- I'm so glad that little Keegan is doing better today! I was worried about that little guy. How funny about how they both have very different reactions to going to the vet! Yes, I thought that the KB workouts would be a fun way to pass time before STS came out. I bought the Go Fit KB at Target, but ended up buying a different DVD to get started (called The KB Way). I think that Lainie and Tneah both have the DVD's from Target, so they might be good to ask about those; the DVD's from Target are a lot cheaper, so it might be a good way to start out. Let me know if you want more info about The KB Way. :) Oh, let me know what you find out about those Old Navy tanks! I've been meaning to get to Old Navy, but haven't had a chance to.

Tneah -- So how was your day with the Frenchies? I had posted something yesterday (in my post that disappeared into cyberspace! ug!) about how I'm a total francophile. I studied French throughout college and grad school, and lived in France for a year after college. We used to get teased by my family since our house is decorated in a French country scheme. There is something so chic about French women, and yet, like you said, they are also so "different"! Sorry that you were up so early! How cool that you tried your KB workout! Did it ding up the ceiling badly? Oops! The two KB DVD's that I'm loving right now are Art of Strength Newport (http://www.artofstrength.com/dvdworkout/tabid/182/Default.aspx), which I actually bought on Amazon, and the Extreme Cardio KB Workout (http://www.dragondoor.com/dv052.html). Maybe use the one you have one or two more times, and then think about getting one of the other ones. Oh, and I had looked at the class schedule for the KB place yesterday, and it looks like you have to take two classes as a beginner. Should we maybe just meet for lunch instead?? I was thinking that it might be better so we're not sweaty messes! Would Wed. or Thurs. work for you? I can't wait to finally meet!

BG -- No, no eagle has landed yet. :-( I'll let you know, of course, as soon as it does! All your talk of dreamy Coach Sean makes me thing I really have to try CC out. Ah, if you do decide to do Tneah's program with Mr. Trainer, we'll totally be your cheerleaders! Are you on the van again today? If so, hope it's cooler today!

Oh, I meant to add that I was naughty yesterday and ordered some of those Dove's workouts. I ordered them in the morning, and she emailed me a few hours later to say that she had already put my DVD's in the mail! I was so impressed! They were sent media mail, so it may take a little while to get here, but I'm only two hours south of Los Angeles, so hopefully it won't take too long.

I figured that it would be fun to combine them and my KB workouts for awhile before starting STS. (That's how I talked myself into them! ;-) ) I'll let you lovely ladies know how they are.

Look at my new outfit I just bought!:) I wanted some shorts, but longer ones...I got those funny little shoes too. Hope they are cute. They look cute on miss skinny model, so cross your fingers the outfit is cute on me!

Leanne, next week is perfect! Lunch will be perfect! If we like each other we can always hook up and do a class right?;) You are amazing, so smart and sophisticated. You studied in France? Wow. You deserved the new workouts, enjoy! And thanks for the links...will go order these kettleball workouts now...okay, off to the races, this morning its the elliptical and arms....:)

Tneah - yep, rest is the only thing that helps the sore hip flexor. So I'm very glad it's not sore today. ;) I love your new outfit! Gee, I wish I could wear that in the summer... but long sleeves??? I'd pass out from heat stroke.

Leanne - mmmm! Eggs for lunch! That sounds great! Did you have an omelette or something? I think I'm going to get a Honda Fit! I'm not sure if I want to do it just yet. My truck is still running fine. But it sure would be fun to have a new car.

Another sloooow day at work, folks. And we're getting ready to hire a third writer. Why???

Hey ladies~

Deb - lucky you, having some days off! I think you're very wise taking the Ks to the vet separately. My two are pretty good at the vet, unless another dog comes in. Then they get all excited.

Peggie - I love CC #5!

Kristi - Bon voyage! I'm glad all your issues got sorted out!

Allie - high fives on getting that homework done! You must get CC #5 if you don't have it!

Shannon - how exciting that you're so close to getting a new car! Looks like it was CC#5 day yesterday:p

Tneah - love the outfit. I agree about BC being one of Cathe's best. I see you got sucked into the kettlebells too! I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out!

Leanne - is DH playing games until 3 a.m.? Does he play Warcraft? Chris used to play Everquest and it came pretty close to destroying our relationship. I'm glad you found something healthy to eat yesterday.

Lainie - your patio looks absolutely gorgeous! The rest will come.:)

Tneah -- That outfit is ADORABLE, and you will look so dang cute in it! I love those shoes!! Like you, I hate shorts, so those look like the perfect length! Speaking of shorts, how did the cute little sailor ones work out in Florida?? Aw, you're too sweet about the comments! I actually taught English conversation at a French high school in Lyon for a year, which was a lot of fun. I was able to do a lot of traveling, which was fantastic. Well, I already know that I like and love you -- and I know we'll have fun next week! What sounds like fun? Shall we just meet for lunch at Fashion Valley, or would dinner maybe be better for you with your work schedule? It might be fun to do a little shopping afterwards or take a peek at the shoes at Nordie's . . . . :) Shall we say Wednesday??

Shannon -- I actually had Greek eggs yesterday -- eggs mixed in with feta cheese, fresh tomatoes, and basil, along with a biali bagel on the side. Yummy! I'm not a big egg eater, but whenever I go to this coffee house where I went, I always get their Greek eggs. I haven't seen the Honda Fit, so I'll have to check that out. Yes, a new car is so fun, isn't it? Has the air been staying in your tire? Hope so! A third writer, huh? Are they expecting things to pick up?

Shelley -- *Back to say "hi" since we were posting at the same time!* No, Mike usually plays on-line poker/XBox or reads until the wee hours. I know exactly what you mean about how those dumb games can destroy a relationship; over the years, we've had to deal with his video game addiction at various points. It's actually the main reason why he hasn't even looked at WOW or Everquest (AKA Evercrack) -- b/c he knows it would cause major problems. It probably seems so foolish to others to hear about this, but it's such a serious issue! Those games really are so darn addictive -- and so destructive. How are you doing today? Is work going well? Hooray for tomorrow being your short day!

I've been printing out all my RT documents and putting them in a folder, as Kathy S. suggested. I'm getting excited, but also nervous! Lainie and Peggie, I was thinking that we should exchange cell phone numbers (and with Kara, when she returns) so we can be sure to catch up with each other on Friday morning! :)

OK, off to start PLB in a few minutes. I'm not a big fan of the Pyramids and haven't done them in ages, so it'll be interesting to see how I like them after not having done them in awhile . . . .

Hey everyone! Got to meet the van this morning instead of driving all the way in to the office. Whenever we have a northern route, they let me meet the clinic somewhere so I don’t have to drive allllllllllllllllll the way to the office, drive allllllllllllllllllllllllll the way north on the van, then allllllllllllllllllllllll the way back to the office just to drive BACK north again! Whew. That makes me tired just typing it.

So I slept in. 5 a.m. Just stayed in bed, trying to talk myself out of a workout. SO TIRED. But eventually (530) I got up and drug my arse into the workout room and slogged on the TM. Did CC4 and did pretty well I think! I did level 3 climbs at 4% grade. I don’t know if that’s enough, but running (or jogging rather) up that incline sure set my arse on FI-RAH. So I’ll take it. }( }(

Kristi – Glad to hear things are settling in! Now you can fully relax on your little getaway, even though there’s a conference involved (right? Am I remembering that correctly?) We’ll miss you while you’re gone!

Shelley – glad to see you this morning! Bootcamp is so fun! I’m assuming you’re talking the original, right? How are you feeling today darling? I hope the cloud has lifted some, but if not – please remember that I/we would be glad to listen, type, or whatever you need. OK?

Deb – Please let us know what you hear about your little dude. I am glad to hear he’s keeping things down. That’s the worst feeling in the world to not be able to keep things down. UGH. I just have CC Vol 1-4. I did 2 first, then bought 1, 3 and 4. Did 4 this a.m. So I’ll try out 1 and 3 soon. Which ones do you have? Faves? I sorta used the colors – I’m not exactly great at that yet, but I worked hard and I know it. Any idea which iTrain song I’m talking about? I may try to pick people’s brains since the production team can’t exactly give me specifics. I want to get a few more. I’m a workout hog.

Peggie – I don’t have Vol 5 yet. Just have 1-4 as of now. Got Vol 1 for a shorter w/o on the bike. Probably going to try that one on for size tomorrow. Have you done it?

Allison – I heart Butts and Guts!! Good for you on getting homework done and for the stellar paper! Hope work goes smoothly today.

Shannon – I bet that part of the country is fabulous. Are you north Arkansas? I used to work with a little guy when I was working with pediatrics whose family owned a winery in Arkansas. I can’t remember the name of it. Not sure about Arkansas wines at first (like I pretty much think Texas wines are icky), but she brought me a red that I didn’t find offensive! Anyway, all that to say – pretty country. BIL and family live in Bentonville. Haven’t been, but they love it.

Tneah – that is so sweet about your DH keeping Georgie’s teeth! A little Georgie book sounds cool. And about Body by O… do you think I could email him with some questions first? I mean, not trade secrets or anything, just basics? Thanks for offering to be my cheerleader. I’m so in awe that you survived it, and am sure I’ll need you if I decide to take the plunge. OMG LOVE the outfit! Cool shoes! You’ll look gorgeous in that!!!

LEANNE – So glad to see you today. How did you like the Strong Like a Bull rotation? Any great results? Sorry you had a crummy night’s sleep! You’ll sleep well after all that activity today! I think the eagle should land today. Right? You are just full of surprises! Lived in France? That is so awesome!!!!!!

Ok – yes, I’m on the van today – and no – unfortunately this is Texas so cooler is not an option. We have to wait until about November or so. Maybe if we’re lucky, October. I’m with the doc that sucks his teeth a lot, so pray for my sanity. Pulling up at a stop, have to go sling some barium. ;)

Oh, it's not nearly as exciting as it sounds! ;) I just put something in the mail to Leanne, and I'm having fun asking if it arrived. That's all.:D

Hi All..

Just doing a quick run by....

Keegan is ok...puppy indigestion, our vet recommended we give him a teaspoon of plain yogurt every day to help the good bacteria grow in his tummy! I love this vet..he is part traditional and part holistic which I think is a good balance...

Leanne: stopped by Old Navy and picked up 2 of the tanks with the built in bra.. they are on sale $12.50 ea or 2 for $15 Duh! a no brainer..I bought black & Grey

p.s it isn't really a bra...its more like a second layer of fabric with a stretchy thing that goes under the girls..

BBL

Deb

Hi all. I started posting earlier, but a guy from IT came by to try to fix a computer that was acting up and I thought it wise to escape from catheland for a bit. I'm not having a great day. I made a rather big goof concerning the piece of equipment run by the malfunctioning computer. It didn't jeopardize any results, but it made a huge amount of extra work for everyone in the department except me. Sigh. I feel like such a dolt.

Deb, I'm glad to hear Keegan is OK. I wish I had the time to run out to our Old Navy. I could use a couple tank tops. I know what you mean by loving to appliance shop, but I can never afford all the bells and whistles. Our new washer is bare bones, as well as the frig. I hope I'll be able to splurge a bit when it comes time for a new oven though, since I cook so much.

Kristi, sounds like the appliance gods are smiling on you. Great news about your computer stuff.

Allie, atta girl with your paper. I was one of those dwebs who always had papers done way ahead of the due date. I hate having chores hanging over my head. My DH and DD are just the opposite. DH was griping this morning because DD hasn't found a babysitter for Greyor yet and school starts in 5 weeks. I told him she is just like him and he was annoyed. Heck, he brags about being a procrastinator!

Shannon and Peggie, CC 5 is one I don't have. Or 8. I'm weakening on 8 though, with all the rave reviews it's gotten.

Tneah, I didn't know you had the kettlebell workout too. I haven't given in yet. DH didn't sound too thrilled when I muttered something about kettlebells. Maybe I'll check them out when our Target opens in a couple weeks. I love that picture of you. Right out of a magazine, speaking of Miss Skinny Model.

Leanne, I didn't know you lived in France! I would love to learn French and visit the country some day. Of course, I keep saying that and not doing anything about it. The college DH teaches at has French classes, but I think they are for someone who has taken it in high school. I have never had a lick and think it would be above my very elementary level.

BG, happy van hopping and barium slinging.

Lainie, here's another cheer for your lovely walks and patio.

Only another hour or so till vacation time. I'm not sure what workout I'll do when I get home, but something cardio in anticpation of wings and beer. Later all.

Hello everyone. I don’t know why it takes me so long to get on here most days! Today we haven’t even left the house. I’ve just been busy doing laundry and other little fussy things around the house. I also did most of the strikes of Strike Zone. I was feeling very tired this morning (plus my booty and shoulders are sore from yesterday) so it was hard to get going and do it, but I finally got into it and enjoyed it.

I’m still pretty tired—not sure if I’ll nap this afternoon or not. Maybe just a short nap…. I again didn’t sleep very well last night.

The boys are fighting less than they did the first few days out of school, so I guess they’re adjusting to both being home all the time. What a relief.

Oh yeah, and I joined WW again. I lost weight with it well last year, then hit a plateau with my injuries. Then I joined again a few months ago but didn’t really do it seriously, so it didn’t work. Now I’m trying again—hopefully if I recommit more wholeheartedly it will work again. This melter really needs to actually melt again!

Oh good grief. Both the boys just had almost simultaneous potty accidents! Argh. Isaac is almost 6—why is he still doing this several times a week!? He does fine at night—will wake up and go pee if needed—so I know he can do it. At least he just does a bit in his pants and finishes on the toilet. Ewan just whizzes all over the place—potty training sucks.

Deb, wow, you slept in until 5:45? You sound like my early rising hubby. ;) I slept in until 7:45 myself. Nope, I don’t have the extra washer and dryer hooked up. In fact, I would need a plumber to install stuff to hook up the dryer. It’s a gas dryer and we aren’t set up for that (though we have other gas stuff in the house, so it would be just a matter of running some pipes around or something). I still probably

Peggie, loved your naughty Coach Sean comments yesterday. }( Obviously I’m not one to be offended.

Kristi, so glad things are going better and I hope you have a great trip!

Allison, good luck with the icky stuff at the job. Good work getting that paper done last night! I was always a big procrastinator in school.

Shannon, good job on the elliptical workouts. I still need to nag DH some more for a bike. x( Did I say nag? I meant to say “gently encourage”.

Tneah, did your kettlebell workout come with a Go Fit kettlebell? I haven’t used the one that came with the kettlebell, but I have two others by the same woman. I like Kettlebell the Iron Core Way Vol. 1 as a beginner training video that gives me some good DOMS, but I haven’t moved on to Vol. 2 yet (though it looks more intense). I’ve heard good things about the Art of Strength workouts, though, and I will try them eventually (but I am restricting myself from buying them until post-RT). AOS Providence is I think the easiest one but I don’t know much more than that.

Leanne, I’m glad you liked the Buff Baby Jesuses. ;) I thought they were pretty funny. Thanks for the compliment on my blog, too. I’ve been tweaking it a lot lately. How did the PLB go this morning? I am sore from yesterday’s S&H workout but it’s more my buns than my legs. Bummer since I am more concerned about my thighs than my heinie. Yes, I will PM you my cell phone number (or email it, since I guess I have your email address).

Shelley, glad you approve of the patio. :D How are you feeling today?

BreckGirl, did you say what you do for a living that involves vans and clinics and doctors? Am I just forgetful? I keep thinking I need to make a special document and write down everyone’s names and important details like who has kids or dogs and what their jobs are, etc. Haven’t done it yet, though.

Robin, sorry for the work trouble, but at least you start vacation time soon. Hope you pick some fun cardio today!

OK, it’s getting a bit late for Ewan’s nap, so I’d better go get him down.
