Three things...

1. I tried that Kashi cereal that everyone raves about, thought maybe it would be a good choice----Blech! Yuck! Blech! Even with a banana it was awful. My kids laughed at me and encouraged me that it isn't that bad and that my tuck jumps may improve if I continue to eat it.

2. I said I would take a week off from exercise to heal my tendon and a slight stiff neck. Nope, couldn't do it. I'm addicted and I need help. A counseling center for Cathe Addicts may be the ticket.

3. My dh is going to AZ on business again in April, and the company is flying me out for a few days. No kids, No responsibilities. Free trip. I can't believe I will be child free for 4 days. This is very hard I haven't been away from them for that long. It's been 9 years since my dh and I have been alone for a length of time. I guess this is when I will take time off to heal my body!

Oh, Shelley, by the way, I enjoy your posts!

1) Did Muscle Max this morning and IT FELT GREAT!!! Finally able to up my weights for biceps!

2) Finally dropped my car off this morning to have the brakes fixed. Doing this, I got to ride the rest of the way to work with DH this morning.

3) Ran a 9:00 meeting this morning and everything went well.

Well, it's only 10:30 and already three good things have happened!

1. I'm happy that people are enjoying my thread:)

2. My bosses are all away today.

3. My SO is actually finished work at a decent hour tonight so I won't be asleep when he gets home!

Great thread.:)

I'm one of those who count the smallest things, so:
1. My husband and son left early this morning, and for the last hour all I've been hearing is pure, blessed, sacred, unbelievably invigorating SILENCE.
2. I got a very nice e-mail from my favorite niece -- no hints of prepubescent angst this time.
3. All around me, trees are blooming and I am filled with COLOR.

I hae a TERRIBLE day yesterday as well, but I will go "positive" on you all too! :)

1. I did my workout this morning, even though I wanted to sleep in (or drink coffee and watch the news).

2. I got another "annoying" file off of my desk this morning

3. I found a way to resolve a difficult issue.

Christine :)

Thanks for this thread Shelley.

I'm a pretty simple person so, here goes:

1) I did the entire Bootcamp workout last night (I've watched it twice), and I LOVED it!

2) The birds have found the feeder and seed I just put out yesterday. I enjoy watching birds.

3) My MIL went back home Monday. }(

Let's see...

1. bought a fabulous dress for a 40th birthday celebration with my childhood girlfriends...and, thought, hmmm...this is what 40 looks like??
2. didn't eat any ice cream last night so that I will be sure to fit into said dress on Saturday...
3. no nasty comments from dh on price of said dress, but instead, he said "you deserve it!" How great is that???

Cool thread ...

1. Stayed on my diet yesterday, even though the office manager had a bowl of free tootsie rolls on her desk.

2. Actually sat on the couch and watched a movie w/ my hubby while holding hands.

3. My boss told me to go home early because I have been working so hard lately.

This thread was really uplifting. What a great idea.

BTW - Shirley loved the MIL comment, Melissa I really laughed over the broom part. What fun people on this site!

BTW2 - Judy you must be from Roch (Go McQuaid). I was born and raised there. Nice place, great food, love Wegmens, loooong winters.

A thread like this is just what I needed today, Shelley! Thanks for starting it!:)

1. I did 25 straight leg push-ups in GS Chest/Triceps (16 in a row --the rest in bits and pieces). This is a HUGE accomplishment for me!

2. A good friend and I resolved a tense issue relating to the job we recently started sharing.

3. My "Core Foundations" DVD arrived.

okay this is just the approach I needed. I had a bad day yesterday but I won't dwell on it! x(

1. I completed my workout yesterday even though I tried to convince myself all day long that I didn't have to and wasn't going to.

2. It's Wednesday (hump day!)

3. There is a much more positive tone here today that makes it fun again to be here!)

Thanks Shelley:+ :7

I like this idea of sharing positive things and ideas.

I discovered that Amazon.com is better to sell my old VHS firm videos and the books that I read and will not likely read again.

Is funny because I don't need the money, really, I do very well in business, but I think this is a way of putting the item in the hands of someone that may need it or wants it, instead of taking space and collect dust in my book shells.

With the money from the sale I will buy the Intensity Series. I think is a good move!

Yesterday I spent most of the day helping some young men, who want to start their own business, this is my way of giving back! Is good karma!

Great thread! Lets see:

1. I've been staying right on with my eating this week! Passing up all the cookies and donuts we've had here at work.

2. 5 of my cousin's and I are spending the weekend in Amish country this weekend!

3. My husband and I are still in love even after 9 years of marriage and 15 years of knowing each other! : )

I don't post much, just lurk a lot, but this was such a great topic that I had to reply. So here goes:

1:My grandpa (who has advanced prostate cancer), grandma and aunt came over for coffee yesterday and my two DD's cracked them up the whole time. It was so great to see my grandpa laughing so much.

2:I used 15#'s for the 1up/3down set in GS BSB-felt really strong!

3:Only 2 days til I leave for a girls weekend to Chicago-woohoo!

We don't stop to think about the little things often enough. This should be a weekly thread to remind us, ya know?

Have a great day all,

Klaudia

1. I didn't give up on this forum.
2. I finished my Attitude is Everything book
3. I saw my grandson after 6 1/2 months.

This was an awesome idea and I'm having a great time reading everyone's posts:

My 3 good things:

1. I did Kick, Punch, Crunch this morning and had an awesome time and didn't quit once (except to guzzle H2O).
2. I conducted a successful conference call at 9am with India.
3. I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I get to take a 1/2 day off! My bf is driving me to Madison where I will meet my favorite author, Jodi Picoult!

1) I found a "nice" thread I felt I could jump into.
2) When I got dressed for work I had to put a safety pin in my pants to hold them up today. (My Cathe tapes are workin'!!!!)
3) I saw a robin - my first one this year!

Three things:

1. I finished all of MM including pushups YEAH! (I even added extra incline, decline and supine bench presses too).

2. Everyone is complimenting me on my new shaggy, highlighted hair style.

3. Everyone in Victoria (where I spend half the year just working out and not working) emails me almost daily telling me that they are thinking about me and that they miss me. It makes me feel so good. Ahhh, Its great to have friends.

As an aside here, I love Jodi Picoult. Just finished "My Sister's Keeper" - fabulous book.

Ahh another good thing - finishing a great book!

1. I have hauled myself out of bed at 5:45 am two days in a row to get my workouts done.

2. Finally finished sewing 3 new Easter dresses for girls - they have spent the morning twirling around and dancing in them.

3. I just completed the last load of laundry in the house - now I just have to put all the clothes away!
