I thought the other thread was revealing the secret of another pencil test I know about. This pencil test tells you if you are going to have a boy or a girl. You don't have to be pregnant for it to work. Here's what you do: Take a regular old pencil with an eraser. stick a needle into the eraser (straight down). Try to get the needle as straight as you can, but even if it's a little crooked it will work. Now thread the needle with a length of thread that's about 12 inches long or so. Hang the needle over your wrist (some people say over your belly, but I've always done it over the wrist). Hold it very still. The pencil will start to move on it's own (I swear). Sometimes the pencil will kind of shake...this means you aren't holding the pencil over the right spot. I have to hold it at the crease between my palm and my wrist for this to work. Anyhoo, if the pencil makes a line, it means you will have a boy. If it moves in a circle, it means girl. The bigger the line or circle, the bigger the boy or girl will be. If the pencil goes straight from a line into a circle or vice versa, it means twins. The length of time between the lines and/or circles tells how long it will be between births in real life. This does not automatically mean you will have children, but that if you do have children, this is the order in which they will be born. NOTE: If you have miscarried or had an abortion, this test tells you the sex of the aborted baby, in addition to any that are actually born.
So, go grab your pencils and see if it's true for you. I've never known ANYONE that this was not correct on.
I'm supposed to have twins first (a girl, and then a boy), then another little girl later. My husband's pencil test matches mine, but this may not hold true for everyone.
