The "oldies" are such a mood booster!

I'm feeling lousy this week. Nothing big--just the virus our family has been passing around since December:mad:. I pulled out Step Fit yesterday--can't remember the last time I did that one! The Macarana is still so fun. I did C&W this morning--my all-time favorite mood booster. I feel great now! Of course I'll have Buttercup in my head all day, but I'm good with that.:p

What are your go-to workouts when you're not quite up to your regular exercise?
 
I don't know if these are go to when not feelin' up to but as far as mood boosters go:

High Step Challenge "Girl you're lookin' good..."

Body Max 2 "We're the kids in America....oh-oh"

Low Impact Circuit & Drill Max instrumentals, yeah, that same one so gets me going!

Low Max "Thunder & Lightning are callin' my name..." always a classic, who does that anyway?

Step Blast "Paint it Black" is that the name? perfect timing there!

Bond theme Slow & Heavy?

Definitely C&W for me! I use it to ease me back in to regular workouts after I've been sick, because I know I can handle it, and because it cures any motivation problem I might have after losing momentum. Total mood booster, and then I can't wait to work out the next day!

Too funny! I also did Step Fit yesterday. It's a good excuse to do Snow Angels and the Macarena. :) The workouts from the Cardio Hits and the Classics DVDs always put me in a great mood!!!
 
I think it's low impact circuit with girls just want to have fun. I also agree with "buttercup" definatly a pick me upper.

Great list! Yes, we should definitely include all-around mood boosters regardless of their difficulty.
 
Then there's the entire Body Blast Series, it's like one big pack of Happy!

There's always the premixes...:)


LOL!! What a perfect way to describe it! I've always found that to be the funnest series, too. Step Blast is my mood-booster workout. In fact, it's been a few months since it's seen the inside of my player. Tomorrow might be the day!
 
For this winter I have saved at least one day/week for either Cardio Hits or The Classics for just this reason, it is a giggler!

Great post! As a relative "newbie" to Cathe's workouts (although I have amassed an impressive collection already-and quite a few that I haven't done yet) this is great info! I love C&W and rhythmic step. Now I have a great list to work from when I am not feeling like working out!
