The Night Before the Road Trip - a poem

Oh gosh. Ummmmmmmmm.... yeah. Public speaking is NOT my strong suit. But I'll bring it. Maybe you can get me drunk. Wait. I don't drink. Well, I can't promise, but I'll try:)

YES!!! Shelly you can do it! I think this would be GREAT for tomorrow night or Saturday lunch - I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone one more time this weekend & read your great poem with all the intensity that you put into those terminators! (I teach public speaking, so if you need a coach, just let me know:) )

Shelly, I've been so stressed out at work today, not to mention thinking about everything that I need to pack and get done before I get on the road tomorrow and your brilliant little poem made me chuckle for the first time today!! Thanks!

Can't wait to meet you:7

Oh my gosh, I'm laughing! You did awesome and I also vote for Cathe to hear it! Do you have a green hate you can wear so we'll know its you.

Can't wait to see you...thanks for this...made my day!

Sami

That was incredibly awesome! Do you write for a living? Is there a market out there for fitness poetry? If so, you'd make a fortune! Now, you just need an illustrator and you'll be all set.

Have fun at the road trip,
Shelbygirl

Oh Shelley! I haven't gotten the Bootcamp SONG out of my freakin' head yet and now this!
At this rate my husband will commit me before I even make it to NJ.
By the way, I can't do Terminator Climbers without singing that line, and whooping a little in spite of myself as well!

See you soon (Oh my! If feels good to say that!)
Mattea

Shelley, you are seriously demented, but I am nonetheless soooo jealous of the road trippers who are going to get to meet you! Someone take a pic of Shelley reading her poem for me, please.
