..."Not in THIS Lifetime" -my first words after seeing the 1-Legged Ball Pikes on the Blog! Kinda like a yoga headstand! WHY ON EARTH DO I NEED TO DO THAT??:+ :+ :+ :+ :+ :+ :+ :+ :+

Well it looks like Netta & I bumped again in the hallway as she trotted off to bed with java cup in hand! I guess the meds are FINALLY out of my system as I was bright -eyed & bushy tailed at 1:30am....ahhhhhhhhhhhh yes, life is back to normal!:)

Yesterday was a great birthday & I thank each of you so much for all the well wishes! What a group we are! I am always amazed by how deeply touched I am by you. Group Hugs...[IMAGE]http://www.emotihost.com/hugging/6.gif[/IMAGE]

I spent most of the day (afternoon) sleeping! Those pills just wouldnt get out of my system... I started to do yoga to warm up for my 4DS but was almost in lala land on a downward dog! I do believe I now understand a LSD Experience...those 60's gals were crazy man, crazy[IMAGE]http://www.emotihost.com/peace/1.gif[/IMAGE]

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Catching up time……

LEA::, WENDY:::, NICOLE:::
Thanks for the fly by to wish me Happy- B-day! What on earth are you 3 doing that you are so busy! I think as Watercooler buddies you can surely tell!!!

TRACY:::
Caught up yesterday….Just a Happy Good Morning to you!

DEBRA::::
Well look at you starting to become so afraid that little ol’ me is the axe murderer- calling me a Spring Chicken! Well dear- YOU shall be spared! ~ HUGE day on the productivity scale for you! I am truly impressed & humbled…I had better start laundry & packing…I tend to wear the same outfits all the time – hope SPORTSWEAR w/ ponytail is our weekend dress code! ~~ AHHHHH The turtlenecks & sportscoat look…The sexiest I ever saw Wendell was (1) time in 7 years he wore that to a wedding we attended…It was a gal I worked with so he didn’t know anyone…I cant tell you how many of the women “had a few” and began to declare his sexiness! It was really fun except trying to save Wendell (who was CLUELESS BTW) from all the jealous DH/BF's! ~~ Tell DD to think of me as Hannah/Miley…I have inter-changeable hair! I wonder why blue popped into her mind???? Is mommy dressing up in blue wigs for CBL?????KINKY!

LAURIE:::
Missed you this weekend!!! Hope all activities went according to plan!

KIM::::
Well it sounds like you’ll be very busy this week! I do hope you get to sneak in a little nap time here & there! Can ya tell some of us are BIG on naps? I CRINGED! You took off your jackets running in +1 temps??? I do imagine your version of “jackets” are far different than we southern folks tho! Ours are all cotton- not a sheep in site! 

SANDRA:::
ROF “Stacys been caged!”….I’m sure Deb, Jeanette, Tracy & Laurie are REALLY GLAD to hear that! Mr Clooney is my idea of a “I might cheat” man…I simply don't like seeing him with those girls on his arms tho…WHY cant he appreciate a well seasoned woman??? I’m sure if he EVER met one of us…..”bung people up” – LMAO! Now theres a saying I never heard but it defies all communication barriers! OMG that’s funny! ~~ GOOD GIRL on not caving on @ the selling parties!!!! I give each friend a pass for my attendance to ONE! Only ONE per lifetime per person…I tell them that UPFRONT! Seriously I do this…along with the “I don't attend baby showers, wedding showers etc……” Those are the terms for friendship negotiated on 2nd social gathering…. Funny but that actually sets apart the women I actually WOULD be friends w/ from those I would not… Hope you had a sweet treat in honor of me…I was a good girl!

**WARNING- NOT ALL SUBJECT MATTER BELOW THIS LINE IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOUNGER VIEWERS**
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
JEANETTE:::
Now look at the audience we have Netta!!!!!!! ~ I am STILL cleaning my nethers up from your post: <Debra, I'm not allergic to anything that I know of. Wait a minute...I ate some cheesecake and various desserts at Christmastime. They made me swell and that swelling has still not gone down. Not sure what the particular ingredient is in it that caused this, but I'm MAD AS HELL about it!>Dear gawd woman we are TWINS! ~~ AWESOME activity yesterday!!! Today is golf? WOW! I bet we’ll NEVER see you once it actually becomes warm there! Are you looking forward to wearing shorts this week???? COOL! ~~ What a relief about Lexxie! I agree that for our dear pups FOOD is a big indicator. I think Sandy was the only pup on earth that ate people food up to the moment she passed away… My girl luved to eat more than anything. That’s why her stomach issues that were her demise was so sad…She wanted to eat but got so sick …. Enough of that….She’s healthy & happy again so all is well. ~~~~ Wendells mouth is healing very slowly… 1 side was a harder surgery- I believe the surgeon used the dreaded word DIG to me! That’s the side that is still swollen & causing him a good deal of pain….He’s still in the ham salad, tuna salad stage – I almost killed him Friday by having him try a pork chop! ROF….well I was ROF but he wasn’t! ~~ *WARNING*WARNING*WARNING*The BEST part about the snip*snip time was Wendells detailed explanation of what the DR. did with "various parts" of his anatomy! I will NEVER know if it was true or not but according to Wendell, the Dr put his penis thru a rubberband & looped the rubber band thru a button on his shirt to hold it out of the way!!!!!!!! OMG! To this day that is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!!! - Of course I said to Wendell..."Why didnt he just say "hold it" - we all know thats the favorite male past-time" - I WAS NOT his choice for "Wife of the Year" that day!!!

OK- I imagine it will be HOURS until someone comes out to play with me so I’ll be a good girl & get an early workout in of some sort then come back…then workout again….then come back…WAIT- I gotta actually work + clean + laundry + pack too…DRATS!

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Ok... I get it- ya'll have really changed the name to something else but didnt tell me.............

TLT Endurance Training completed...good lord my body is out of shape in every way....TLTs may just help get me in shape so I dont kill myself in Meso 1 of STS! I NEED HELP! I think Tracie Long is an instructor that I find challenging to follow...She gives so much verbal direction my brain cant absorb it before the move actually happens...probably more my brains issue than a cuing issue, eh? ANYWAY....I finally realized if I didnt start w/ her & try & do & listen I did fine...I watched her instead for first 2 "demo" reps then jumped in....I'm just a better visual learner.

Thinking of either a short CC run later or some In the Ring .... not sure if I'm in an Amy mood tho. Gotta get tonights training written...everything this week is 2 hr sessions because of the trip... crack the whip!}(

ETA::: TRACY::
OMG! I am so sorry about FIL...I just dont know what to say except we're here if ya just want to vent/ramble/whatever.
You workouts over weekend made me drip further in sweat!
Whats the preliminary word on In The Ring??? Will it drive me crazy today if I'm not in "an Amy mood"?

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Hi all,

I did some clean max yesterday because my workout area was a disaster, but other than that, not much. My parents came over for dinner and arrived early. The kitchen area was still a mess and I'm sure my Mom was cringing as she helped clean up. It was the last thing on my list to do before they came and it just didn't get done. We had a nice dinner, although I think they were frozen because we keep our house so cold and it was cold and damp outside yesterday.

I had a nice workout with Ch & Back from 4ds on Saturday and I inserted a set of pull or chin ups between each exercise group. Then I added on MM chest and back to finish and went to failure.

Sunday I did the WU from In the Ring, then 4ds KB/legs/core and some yoga on my own. It was a nice workout.

Today is either t/b/s from 4ds or a run. I'll see if the kids are running and do that if they are.

FIL is not doing well at all. I guess my nephew told DH that FIl thought he was going to die Saturday night. He fell last night. I'm not sure how bad it was because I went to sleep and DH was still waiting for a call back. His voice was much weaker last weekend. It seems like he is starting to give up just a little or getting worn down from the sickness. It's been a long hard battle and he has been so sick. I am hoping that things improve.

Traci - You are your normal night own self. I'm still not sure how you do it.

Jeanette - Glad you had a nice ride.

Debra - You had a nice day of accomplishment. I love it when I am really motivated to get things done. It only happens at certain times of the month.

I'd better get back to work. Hi to all who follow.

Tracy

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Good morning ladies. How is the Watercooler??

The in-laws visit went well. Very busy though. I just feel like taking a day and sleeping. Thankfully, life goes back to normal today.

I will do GS Back, shoulders, biceps and abs today. I really haven't worked out while the in-laws were in town. It will definately be nice to get back to it.

Traci - Thank goodness you got those meds out of your system. I am glad that you had a nice birthday. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from the E3 website. I can't wait. Are you still taking yours? AND I might add that you are asking 3 women with kids why we are so busy? Hmmm....let me send them on over to you. LOL. Sandra on the other hand, she is superwoman. Nothing can slow her down.

Tracy - So sorry to hear about FIL. You will be in my thoughts today.

OK, enough procrastinating. Must get to workout. Have a great day everyone.

Lea

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Good morning all!!! It is still rainy and cold here this morning. Ugh. DD and I are waiting fro CBL to arrive and take her over to my mom's since she is out of school today and I am obviously not! I have a test this morning....and then after that a relaxing massage scheduled...Yipee!!

I guess I will have to workout today since I have been a more than a little slack in that department lately...Not sure why except that I have been truly busy doing all kinds of other things. So SH bis and tris today for sure!!

I will bbl to catch up with personals...but gotta say, Traci, I am with you on the one legged pike...Is there some reason I should be able to do this in my lifetime??? Can't think of why!

Later chickadees!

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

I love vacation time. Here I am drinking my coffee in my pj's while the kiddos are still sleeping and DH is at work. Not much on the agenda today, ds has a dentist appt hopefully won't be long and he broke his appliance/retainer thing so hopefully that doesn't cost a fortune to fix. Then the kids want to head across the city (about 45 mins) to a mall that has some stores we don't have closer to us. DD wants to go to build-a-bear:eek: , ds still has a Chapters gift certificate from Christmas he wants to use. That mall also has a London Drugs and a saw a thread on videofitness.com that london Drugs has Eoin's newest yoga dvds in stock. Since this group says so many good things about him and I haven't seen his dvds anywhere I thought I should try one. so maybe I'll find one there.

Sandra- I hope you got a better night's sleep last night! That's hard when they're growing out of their naps. Did you get to the zoo? I'm not a big fan of the zoo, I find it kind of sad. Our city zoo is really in need of big time renovations. ;( What is your mom interested in? My mom turned 62 in December and we bought her a gift certificate for LLL because she enjoys going to the gym and she talked about how lots of the ladies wore LLL clothes.

Traci How was the brunch?? I'm glad that you had such a good birthday and now starting to feel like yourself.

Jeanette- LOL at your allergies.:) I'm glad that the weather cooperated for you bike ride! The runner I'm running with is a good friend from work, that other lady I mentioned to you all is a parent at my kid's school I've never run with her just chatted about running. She did ask me last week for the name of the cardiocoach website as she was thinking of downloading stuff and said she hadn't run in a couple of weeks as she hadn't been feeling well. I'm going to keep checking in with her but I doubt I would run with her. The girls I run with are from work. Their are lots of runners at work during the spring the whole lunch hour conversation is about training which is too much for me.
Yes, bandit is our little 15 year old doggie. She is a mix of Bichon and Cocker Spaniel. She's very frail, with arthritic knees, bad eyes and bad hearing. I carry her down the back stairs when she needs to go out. She doesn't do stairs anymore I think it's a combination of her vision and knees. She just stands there and whines.

Debra Good luck on the test today! Horton was very cute and worth seeing! Btw (I'm sure you don't care, :O:) The Canadian women's team won Gold at the World's Curling and still no sign of that USA team, hmm.

Tracy Good job on the weekend workouts! Did you hear anymore about your FIL?

Off to do CS, did YogaX last night, only a few more days on the recovery week. DH (who doesn't need to recover :p ) did Cathe's s&H legs/shoulders yesterday. DD wanted to know why he was doing one of mom's dvds? LOL Kim

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe Feb08/Week 3/Day 5
Workout: SH Chest & Back

Had a wonderful time with just DH and I this weekend. Saturday we got our taxes done, and from that point on I don't think we where home. :D We went shopping and then out to eat. Sunday we where at our guilde workshop, and then at his brothers for Easter with his family. The only thing I did do was a 5 mile run on Saturday. It was a really nice spring day. I found Ab Ripper 200 at Half Price books. Couldn't resist it. :D It's Tony after all. :D

This morning we found out that our Cami doesn't like thunder and lightening. :D She was in our bed until all the noise stopped outside. :D Our walk this morning was a drencher, and more is still to come. So with all the snow, and now the rain we are getting flooding problems. Good thing we are high and dry.

Traci, A belated Happy Birthday to you. Glad you had a good day. I saw those one legged pikes on the ball, and can agree with you that I don't think I will be doing those in the future. I received my Amy workouts, and Barry's. I showed the Barry workouts to my oldest, and she is very excited to use those. :D She likes the tubing, more than weights. :D These would probably be really good for her to use. I saw some of the TLT's at Half Price, but I resisted the temptation.

Tracy, Cleaning is not a high priority for me, it gets done when it gets done. I'm not a good role model for my DD's as far as housework goes. :D Oh well, there is more to life than housework. Sounds like a good time with your parents, maybe your Mom had fun cleaning. :D Sorry about your FIL.

Lea, Glad you had such a fun time with the family. My DD's where really tired this morning, from all the fun they had this weekend. Back to reality for them. :D But I told my oldest this morning, you only have 2-1/2 months of school left. That didn't even make her smile. :D

Have to get to a meeting BBL,

Laurie

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Rainy days are here again. Every time it's about to start raining, the nose knows! I was sneezing up a storm yesterday. Today my sinuses are draining. I should locate my neti pot. I haven't used it in ages.

Going back to catch up read....

I was supposed to do Core Synergistics on Friday. Instead I went to Power Heated Yoga with Jenn. I accidentally brought yoga dvds with me. So, CSyn never happened. I wasn't about to do another power yoga workout either!:p

Ewww Ewwww Ewwww A boy the same age as my eldest son hit on me when I stopped at the drugstore on my way home from yoga torture class. I told him his mom should back slap him if he ever brought home a woman my age!!! Ha-Ha

Speaking of eldest ds, he's flying to Germany today. I miss him already!!!!

Did you know that apparently I have a BOOTAY BUTT which requires a specific type of jeans... Bootay Jeans? The saleslady, with no volume control, felt the need to gleefully inform me the specific name to my jean fit issues. It took all of Phil's filter to not burst out in laughter and tell the woman that he could have already told me that! You know, or may not, the jean fit issue where the jeans fit the bootay and thighs, but have anywhere from a 1" to 5" gap at the back waist. I always lied to myself with the thought that I just had a small waist. Nope! I just have a HUGE A$$!!!!!!! Who knew?

Sandra: A series of eagle pose is done around 45 minutes into the basic flow pattern. By then my arms start getting tired of all those vinyasas. We inhale and bring our hands straight up over our heads. Exhale straight into (the lowest you can go and then some) eagle with straight backs, elbows in line with shoulders, thighs squeezed tight together, bootay squeezed, and abs drawn into the back. I forget how many breaths we hold it for, maybe 2 or 4. After eagle, we inhale our hands above our heads into standing. We do it all over again, twice for each side. I can barely extend my arms straight into the air from standing. I think it's from forcing my elbows into alignment with my shoulders while making sure my shoulders are relaxed and not tense. Oh, back to the clothes! Funny how LLL clothes burn, yet cycling pants are cool to the touch.:p :7 :+ I better do some thumb exercises before the retreat so I can email you on the Berry!!!:+ I don't think my thumbs can type too many adjectives! It can type HELP if needed!!!!:7 :+ Ooo, you're right about the noodles soaking up extra liquid while sitting in the fridge. You're so smart!!!

Debra: I borrowed my friend's South Beach Diet cookbook. I don't think I'll follow the plan, but some of the recipes look edible.

Jeanette: LOL about your mother's easy child birth labors. Childbirth was easy for me too until the twins since they were c-section. Before the twins, I always got up after handing the baby over to the nurses and took a shower and did my hair and make-up before being moved from the labor/delivery room into the recovery room. What can I say? I was a heel-less younger and vainer self. :7

Gotta go, phone is ringing.
Wendy

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

GS BS&B

I'm going to start this week with a double header of GS and cardio because I leave Wednesday for KS. I am excited to go and excited for all of you women having a wonderful retreat! Only two more days!!!

Off to call my loan officer and then workout. The appraisal came back too low but I have comps to show her that I think will change their minds. There is a difference between cautious and ridiculous! I'll let you know how it goes:)

Feel the burn!!!

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Good morning!

I did Hardcore Extreme #1 this morning (circuits of Imax3, and High Step Challenge cardio and weights). I saw stars at one point, I swear. But I can feel satisfied that I got my high intensity cardio in for the week. It's all downhill from here.

Ack! I just had a sip of my coffee, forgetting that I put sugar in it this morning to help with rapid glycogen replacement. I haven't had sugar in coffee in ages. I....think....I....like....this.....

Traci....Oh, I'm doing the happy dance for you! Your cranium is out of the vice grip!!! YAY!!!! Keep taking those meds, please, unless you figure out a more natural way of preventing them. But don't go through that torture ever again!!! The 4DS is ideal for you this week. Have fun! I could be wrong about the one-legged pikes, but I'm thinking they're doing the pike with both feet on the ball, then lifting one leg after they're in the position; not rolling the ball in and out with only one leg. Know what I mean? And if I'm right, then they won't be as hard as they appear. Also, notice the person behind Cathe has her knee-shin-foot on the ball, so they're obviously showing modifications. I'm really excited about this core dvd. I love medicine ball work for the core, and there seems to be lots of it. The partner stuff will be fun to do with my older daughter, and DH. Yeah, I'm not a fan of selling parties, either. They capitalize on women's general sense of social obligation. Notice how they don't have these things for men? It wouldn't fly. They'd tell each other to go to h$ll, "I'm not paying that much for that! What are you thinking, Man??" About the Big V: I heard a comedian do a schpiel about that once. He said the dr. *taped* it to his belly!! When everyone laughed, he said, "Hey, I'm just proud that it reached!".

Tracy....Geez, I'm sorry your FIL is going downhill. What an emotional rollercoaster everyone must be on.

Lea....Yay! Life can get back to normal. I hope your brood got spoiled beyond belief by their grandparents. I'm not superwoman. My children are neglected and dirty. But hey, I'm a good role model for them, right? LOL!

Debra....Have a great day! Good luck on that test; I'm sure you'll do great. You're the Star Student!

Kim....!!!!!!London Drugs is carrying Eoin's new workout???? I'm THERE TODAY!!!! I was going to clean my upstairs bathrooms before heading out to a friend's house today, but they'll have to wait!! We're going shoppppingg!! I was just at Indigo Books last night, and they aren't carrying any Eoin stuff at all anymore. I was starting to think maybe he signed an exclusive distribution deal with Amazon.com. No, I had a terrrrrible sleep last night (okay, the tiny bit of sleep I got was wonderful, I just didn't get nearly enough of it), and No, we didn't go to the zoo. I decided to stay home and organize the craft shelves in the playroom/office. Yes, that took allllll afternoon. But we managed to get rid of about half of the clutter, so the craft shelves are organized, tidy, and I know what supplies we have on hand. Hmmm, when I go to London Drugs today, I'll refill the things we're out of. Gee, I *wish* my mom was into working out; LLL clothes would be the perfect gift! But no, she's not. She loves quilting, and doing crafts in general, though. She's nutso about her grandkids (my two are her only ones). Hey, maybe I'll just send her a grandkid!!!

Laurie....What a great weekend! The flooding sounds awful, though. Do you have problems in your basement? Is Ab Ripper 200 from the P90 series? I love your laid-back approach to cleaning, and need to ask: what do you do when people come to visit? Do you run around like mad and spend a day cleaning the whole house so it looks acceptable when they arrive? Do you walk around a bit and push things out of sight, and wipe down all the faucets with windex? Do you do nothing at all, and just tell yourself they're there to visit you, not your house?

Well, if I'm going to get to my friend's house on time, I'd better get moving. I'll come back at the end of the day and catch up on yesterday. Hello to Jeanette, Nicole, Wendy, and whomever else I may have missed. Have a great day!

Oh, could people fill me in on what day they're heading to Debra's? You don't have to give detailed info; I'm just curious what day the posts will drop off.

Cheers!
Sandra

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Hi Everyone!!

Tracie: Hey you! What’s this I‘m reading, you had a BD :p Happy Birthday too you my friend. How old are you now, 25? wishing you many many more.

Oh, wanted to ask, what do you guys think about Amy's new workouts?

Today, I’m dead tired x(}( I may go home around noon, not feeling good at all. Any who, hopefully, I'll get the chances to view them tonight, well at least one of them starting with In the Ring. Have a great day!

Did you guys meet up at Deb’s House?

I miss you guys.

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Done with my meeting, and it was fun telling everyone I would be on vacation TH & F.

Debra, Good luck with your test today, and enjoy your massage.

Kim, Have fun at the mall today. Build-a-Bear is so much fun. :D Hope you find that Eion workout. I tried curling once. Couldn't understand why I was standing on the ice in the middle of summer. :D

Wendy, Didn't even know that Bootay Jeans existed. I have a hard time finding pants that fit my thighs. x( I was really blessed with athletic legs. :D So when they fit me in the butt and waist, my legs feel like they are being put into sausage casings. :7 :7 Maybe someone can come up the a Thick Thigh pants too. :7

Sandra, When we have company coming over I do a walk around, and pick things up a bit. I may even vacuum the carpet if the dog hair is noticable. :7 The only thing that is of the "it needs to be clean" are the bathrooms. Don't understand it myself, but I would be mortified if someone came to my house and my toilets where dirty. :7 Yes I think that the AR 200 is from P90. I will be heading out TH morning. When at HPB I found one of the WW cookbooks you had listed. I was sitting in that area for about 10 min. looking through the book, and decided to buy it. I liked the recipe for the Indian bread. One of our empolyees (from India) made some, and it was yummy. Felt it was worth the $7 I paid. :D

Jeanette, Have a great hill climb, and golf today. You are right Debra has got to stop cleaning. :D What would I do without dog hair on my clothes everyday. :D

Nicole, Enjoy your double header workout.

TG, I haven't had a chance to try the new Amy's yet. Only noticed that I had a package on Saturday. x( Hope you start feeling better soon.

Well I best get back to work,

Laurie

We have a rule in Tx – For every HOUR you spend w/ in-laws ya get a spa day! – I stopped taking E3 when my migraines hit..actually I stopped everything as I was taking so many OTC & then scripts..I’m back on them as of yesterday tho. My nails look GREAT! Like when I was eating raw- I think I’ll keep them in the line-up. Theres also something I saw on the site to maintain proper blood sugar levels. I may give that a go next time I order.

[IMAGE]http://www.emotihost.com/cowboy1/11.gif[/IMAGE] DEBRA::::
Hope you kicked bootay on the test!!!! I’m sure you did! The only reason I think you might want to learn the balance act on the pike is for CBL

Well my dear you sound like a newlywed again! What a fantastic weekend! Was DH being extra special attentive since you’re going away? WONDERFUL news about DD & BBC Express!!! They would indeed be perfect for her! Great find on mini-ARX!

Is that Webcam ready???? – You are on my MUST DO LIST for Thursday/Friday entertainment! Just remember when you see me that the webcam adds 30#s! ~~ I think your explanation of 1-Leg Pike is accurate- changes my mind not one bit! LOL- I don't do Pikes on SB AT ALL now! I do them off my bench when I feel so inspired but most times its just a regular plank for this old gal. I’m more into safety than daredevil status these days. ROF on the comedians version of the Big V! PRICELESS! I want to meet a Dr that actually does them and ask HIM! Some party talk eh? ~~ I leave my house @ 7am for aitport on Thursday so I’ll be here to say good morning! I bet Deb lets us use her puter a bit to!

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Quick break for catch-up personals.:) :) :)

Warning: The following is not intended for rodent lovers.

We've caught a mouse! Ewwwww!!! He worked his paw off the glue trap. Of course, I had eldest BD (Brave Daughter) put another glue on top of the mouse so it couldn't escape before dh can dispose of it in the outside trash can. YUCK! Now, I've got a job on my hands keeping Baby out of the kitchen.

Rodent lovers can now safely read the rest of this post.

Jenn and I are going to power heated yoga tonight.

Friday and weekend reading and replying....

Traci: You crack me up with the name change anxiety. How are you feeling about the name change now? I still have a difficult time locating Watercooler among the other threads. Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Looks like the ole saying is true.:-( I may just need some ginkgo biloba!:+ How's the clean eating coming along? So, how's the butt meds workin?}(

Debra: Don't worry about Lindy. I think we're safe. She's not due for another couple of weeks.}( How's your hand blister? Did it interfere with your mulching????:p I wonder if you can get away with growing hemp instead of grass? Your fundamentalist neighbors might turn you in to the authorities though.;-) Lovely, I have to be the homeschool screener. Sure, why not. I'll meet the neighbors. Just be forewarned Julia might not have playdates with the fundamentalists anymore if I do meet the mom.}( Are you promising to not buy expensive workout clothes for a reason? Should I sleep with one eye open? LOL

Sandra: Glad I never invested in any Amy's. I'm quite content with the three kickbox workouts I currently own. That may change. I doubt it.;) I'd love to have a boring day!!! Lime sherbet and yogurt sounds good! Oh, Sandra, I wish you could have managed to make it to the retreat!!!! No, I don't plan to buy Cathe's newest invention. I already have a pull-up bar and Fluidity bar. I have Phil to spot me and to do the job of squat rack. I would never lift my 1RM for bench presses and squats without Phil next to me. I value my life.:D I'm debating on purchasing the slanted risers or an adjustable bench though. Decisions, decisions.

Jeanette: I'll have to catch up read to find out how Lexie is doing. I hope she does as well as children on antibiotics. Seems like one dose is all it took for my boys to bounce back into their physically draining selves!!!! Did you know that KFC is popular in Thailand. They have similar menu items along with some interesting fiery tasting combos. I couldn't stomach KFC in the states, so I wasn't about to order any in a 3rd world country! LOL I'm glad to hear your grandmother's appetite is increasing. Are you kidding! I thought your pay raise already took effect. Dang that is a LONG time!

Okay ladies, off to do as much of GymStyle Legs before I get ready for power yoga. I'll try to catch up more later.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Back from our shopping trip, everyone's happy! DD got a build-a-bear rabbit with a sundress, ds got a book and a wrestling PS2 game, and mommy got 3 Eoin Finn dvds. I didn't know which one to buy, this store is so far away and I've need seen his dvds sold anywhere else so I bought all 3. So I hope I like them! There's no way I'm going to tell DH how much I spent on yoga dvds.:eek: }(

So I got
Power Yoga for Happiness
Pure and SImple Yoga
Power Yoga Vol.1

Sandra, the dvd that was talked about in the videofitness.com was Power Yoga for Happiness 2:The Surf Edition. I think that's the newest one? I didn't see that one. But the people posting that did were from Western Canada but they didn't say what city. Did you find it??

So which one do I try first??

I looked in Showcase and they had lots of beachbody products but they don't have the + or the timesavers yet, they always seem to get things quite a bit after they come out. Kim

RE: The Monday Watercooler...

Hey gang. Let's see who has been hanging around the watercooler today:

Debra - a massage and a nap? I guess you do need your rest before the stalker and girls show up to play. HIGH FIVE. A 96 on your test. That is amazing. Good going girl.

Laurie - A weekend alone, minus the kids? Bet you had a little fun. Hee hee. Taxes sound really romantic to me. I don't think I can top that. Two and a half months seems like a lifetime to kids doesn't it? Too bad.:p

Wendy - You know, I would be so flattered if a boy that young hit on me. Guess I need to stop watching Desperate Housewives. Ewwww!!! Thank goodness Phil took care of the mouse. Have fun at yoga

Kim - Sounds like mommy got the best buys of all. Enjoy your new yoga.

Traci - Yee haw!! Did I tell you that I went to a place called Rawhide in Arizona and rode a mechanical bull?? It was very interesting to say the least. I hope that you headache is doing better.

Sandra - BACK AWAY FROM THE SUGAR!!! ha ha. Yes, life is back to normal. I doubt that your kids are neglected though. Or are they}( ???

Time to go pick up oldest DS. Talk to you soon.
