How fit is this guy?

Well his son, based on his Fathers teachings has released a workout DVD... and Oh. My. How hard is it???!!!! Very!!!
This is the toughest workout i've ever ever done. And i mean that. I could'nt even make it through the first 5 minutes of the workout! And i think i'm in good shape.
This rocks!

Could you do a breakdown of the excercises done in the workout? I checked out the clip, but it only shows alternating shoulder presses.
What makes it so difficult ~ just wondering?

Didn't they show someone holding up a sign when he had done 1,000 of them? I couldn't do that motion 1,000 time with no weight!

Looks pretty tough!

Wow!

What is the name of workout DVD that his son relased? Do you have a link???? Where did you get it at?

Very interesting!!!!!!

:) ;-) :D :p :9 :7 :+

Oh my, check out the January newsletter. There's a bit about a DVD there (Hour of Power). According to the NL it's only available in the UK. The guy on the cover is :9 lol

OK, they may be using pretty heavy weights, but they are hoisting them around with so much momentum, practically throwing those dumbells about! Good luck to their backs and shoulders!

Okay I am intrigued. What's in the video, Wayne? So we can do the exercises while we wait for USA availability. C'mon!

I e-mailed and put myself on the list to be notified when it's available to us herein the U.S.

This is the first time i've managed to log on, so sorry for the delay.

I have to disagree with Clare.

The video clip shows a man curling and pressing a dumbell for 1,040 times. The weight is 45lbs each. Trust me, at the beginning his form is very strict. Clearly when you reach that high a number, your form is not going to be super strict now is it?

The video is an upper body workout. Though you're using the lowerbody, mostly in a skipping motion, you are holding on to dumbells and doing various things with them. I have never ever ever sweated so much in my life. This is HARD HARD WORK. I can only use 6lb dumbells. I normally curl and press 40lbs.

I recently e-mailed his son to ask him how he built such a great body. He does the Hour Of Power 4x per week. That is it.

The dvd is not your usually exercise dvd. Not much talking. The music is great, but little instruction is given. Which i like as after a while it starts to bother me.

Here is a link to the exercise class. Please bare in mind that in all but this class, the mini stepper is not used.
