the firm transformer

I've heard good things about the construction of the TransFirmer - it's supposed to be their sturdiest gadget yet. However, the workouts that go with it are supposed to be very intermediate level. If you are doing Cathe workouts regularly, you will probably find the new Firm workouts too easy.

Hi Rhonda.

I have purchased it and have used it off and on for about 3 months. I love it. You get out of it what you put into it. It's not near as butt-kickin' as Cathe's stuff, but after 28 years of working out, I can make it as hard as I want it to be. My youngest daughter enjoys it too!!

My sister has it and she loves it. She says the workouts are not very hard, but she likes that. If you are used to doing Cathe workouts, I'm guessing they will be pretty easy for you.

I have some minor regrets. I bought it in May with the thought of alternating it with Cathe workouts. Guess what? I think it's too easy. It's not bad but I got caught up in all the hype. The new step is definitely much better. But, I feel fustrated that I have to work harder to get my heart rate up. I never seem to make the time to include it in my rotation because I'm addicted to the intensity levels in the Cathe and P90x DVDs. I ordered from Collage and got 6 DVDs, I did about 4 of them twice and that's it. I guess at some point I will revisit them or use them for "lite" days. But it's been over two months already. You will definitely find these easy.

Just my two cents...

Thanks so much ladies for all your answers...:7 the only reason I was even giving it any thought is because of the new step(cause I like the design of it) and the AB dvd....
Anyway, I may get it don't know for sure, if that would be worth 70 dollars or more....

I just got mine last week, and I love it. The workouts are easier, but I like them. The incline really works your "Thut." I love the cardio one. I jump more, and make it as high impact as I can. Cathe is a little too high for me, at least 6 days a week anyway. The Jiggle Free's are ok. I really like the "Buns" one. The arm one is not enough, I have only done the abs one once, and I am still undecided about it. I mainly use them for lower body. When they do some kind of arm sequence, I will do more squats or something. The Transfirmer is great, and works very well with the 3 BSS3 cardio's too.

Lori and anyone else...

When you ordered how long did it take to receive it? vacation is on the 22, I am guessing I would not have it by then if I ordered it now, so maybe I should wait till we get back?

RE: Lorisax and others

Rhonda- I ordered mine from Collage, and had it in about 1 week. I have read they are out of them right now, but of course, they will be getting more. maybe they have more in stock by now. I read this right after I got mine, which was about a week ago. I love it. In the cardio's, they always give you a high intensity option after a couple of reps. I just always do high right away, and I get a very good workout. I did KPC cardio conditioning premix yesterday, and I was still alive, so I don't think they are hurting my endurance a whole lot. I think my legs look a little better. I use very light weights, and when they do tall box climbs, or leg press, I have been using 5's, or no weight at all. My thighs can bulk, and I seem to be getting better progress w/o the weights on those things.
