Roxie-How you feeling today? Hopefully your sunburn isn't as bad and you expected. Did you forget your sunblock? Lately i've been using a spray on oil based kind of sunblock with a spf of 8. Its been working pretty good. I use the kids 60 on my face though. The kids have a better tan than i do:confused: Maybe i should just use there's?LOL

Today will be MIS...i plan on getting in some really good burns today. then laying in the sun. I also want to run up and see if i can get me a sundress...
 
Good Morning,

Due to the sunburn I couldn't get up to do the insanity fit test so since its raining and I won't be able to walk I will do it tonite along with CLX Burn Circuit 1.

Amelia-I did have sunscreen on but we were there for 2 hours and the sun was pretty hot, I also cooled off putting lake water on me and didn't reapply. My chest and face are the worst. Hope you get everything settled with insurance this week.

I didn't get Insanity done will start that tomarrow but I did get CLX wt. work done.

Quick check in, i did MIS this morning. Good workout, nice and sweaty. it took 1:14 minutes and burned 367 in calories. Those lunges off the back of the 8" step are killer...good grief, they just kept going:confused:

I've got doms just about every where this morning and the *%#@ scale is up 2.2lbs:mad: made me mad...ive been so good on my diet. Oh well, i know if i stick to it the results will come. It must of been the heavy lifting yesterday and i come to think of it, i didn't drink a whole lot of water:eek: today its water,water,water all.day.long:p

Today is a cardio, not sure which on. DH was suppose to go to his cardiologist but I rescheduled for another day so that means we can hang around the pool all day:D Im going to cut some grass too..

High fives on your workouts girls.

Where's Elaine? Is she on vacation?

checking in with Cardio Coach V 4 done. Pretty good workout. Do you guys have to keep to keep the machine at an incline even during the steady state/ resting periods to keep your HR up? I think my hrm isn't working right. I know i burned more than 260:confused: my legs were burning and i was out of breath with every challenge...

Roxie- I will be sure to include the sunscreen... the sun isn't cooperating today though, kinda cloudy out:(

Not on vacation but wish I was.:p

Life is just very busy. I'm trying to fit everything in before the kids are out of school for the summer.

I felt somehting funky with my shoulder a few weeks ago when I was moving a mattress. Well, over the weekend it started to hurt when I was in bed and then my bicep was burning during the day. I've been putting ice on it and a compression badage. So, no upper body workouts for me. It is a lot better than last week, but not completely healed. I'm giving it the rest of the week before I call the Drs.

Yesterday I did CC V 3 and this morning I did Step Blast combos 1&2 and a lower body pilates DVD. Not to keen on the pilates.

Jean: what a great compliment!!

Hi all. This morning was jogging. Took the dog for 20 minutes and then finished by myself using an Itread program. Did 3+miles.

Roxie, how was the fit test?

Amelia, my hr stays up on the steady if I have my speed set right for what I can handle.

Elaine, hope your shoulder gets better soon.

With TTOM and sunburn and a headache I decided to hold Insanity off until next week so tonite I did Basic Step. I am really tired and ready to go to bed.

This morning I did CC V 3. Monday when I did it I noticed that my playlist was missing challenge 2. So Monday's WO was much shorter. Today was a blast. I always feel like I can do anything after a CC WO.

I have been having numb toes on the elliptical. I went to this shoe store that specalizes(??sp)in feet problems. I talked to the sales guy and told him my problem. He had me trying different shoes and I decided on this one pair. Well, this morning not only my toes went numb but my whole foot!:eek: It took a few minutes to get the feeling back. Those shoes are going back to the store. I may have to resort to doing my elliptical barefoot. So frustrating.

Today will be legs(i think) guess i'll do 4ds legs since it seems to be the easiest of Cathe's;) thought about doing a circuit too, not sure yet. I need to make sure i don't have a weight day before my weigh in on sunday too..

Elaine-Nice workouts the past few days! I hope nothing serious comes out of the shoulder pain & bicep pain. I with ya on wishing we were on vacation...

Tonite I can finally go for walk even though its raining at the moment and then I will do Burn Circuit 2 and Ab Burner. Woke up at 4 am with a migraine I am just not drinking enough water.

Amelia-its getting better clothes aren't as uncomfortable.

Elaine-hope you are starting to heal.

I really need to stop weighing everyday...sigh, up 2.2:( the scale isn't my friend right now. I've got to remember to be more patient! A*R*G! (did weights yesterday again so im sure thats the culprit)

Yesterday i ended up doing PH/UB then Jillian Michaels Yoga meltdown level one...man, my arms were on fire. Maybe I should of did the yoga first:confused: Lots of planks, slow lowering chaturangas, side planks...i had to stop 25mins into it because of arm cramps.

Today is a cardio. Not sure what yet, I wish i owned Step Blast because i would pull it out. I don't have it on DVR no more...got to record it the next time it comes on.

Elaine-Ugh, sorry about your shoe frustrations. Maybe doing a search about toe numbness while on the elliptical would give you some answers,it may not be your shoes at all, maybe its your form or your stride? whatever the problem is i hope it gets straighten out for you soon! Hugs...

Today is our 27th anniversary so I won't be doing a workout we are going to the new Olive Garden that just opened a month ago. I didn't workout last night still fighting a headache.

Amelia-STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALE until your official weigh in day, and have some patience.

Elaine-my feet sometimes go numb doing step and doing the treadmill and I wear asiscs.

I just purchased the download of step blast...its downloading now. I hope it works:confused:

Roxie-I know, the scale is evil. My official WI day is on sunday so maybe i will have a loss before then...

This week isn't going well for me. I ate way too much cake and icing this week, left over from a bridal shower for a co-worker. Plus my tom is late and it seems each day I am puffier and puffier. I have a family reunion this weekend and I'm sure that's when it will decide to start. ARRRGGHH!. If it started on time it would have been almost over by the reunion.

Workouts suck. I have had to work longs days, several days this week, so workouts have suffered.

Elaine, hope you figure out what shoes work for you. You should ask on the OD, what shoes people use. I know others have the same problem.

Roxie, Happy Anniversary!!!. Hope you enjoy your evening.

Amelia, hope the scale is kind to you on Sunday. Weight training can make it go up so hopefully that's all it is.

Morning girls

I can't believe I was up until 3am with DH watching season two of Trueblood last night! HBO is showing it before the new season that starts on sunday...I feel SO LAZY waking up at 9:30 am

Todays workout (much later) will be HSC (did I just say that?)

Well, the download went well. The first attempt i forgot to save it(leave it to me:rolleyes:) so my DH took over and he downloaded it then he put it on a dvd for me for back up. The only complaint i have about it is that it took over 6hours for the whole process(download, then converting, then burning the dvd). Im getting an itch to download ALL the ones i want...including STS!!

Roxie-Guess i could tell my DH to hide the scale from me until sunday:eek:...im just obsessed with weighing everyday.:confused:

Jean-{{{{{Hugs}}}} sorry your having a bad week. I hope you get some relief soon, i hate waiting for TOM to start too. So frustrating.

Elaine-Did you take those shoes back and find some better ones? What kind of Elliptical did you get?
