I don't know which is worse. That the whole thing was staged because he got Molly pregnant and everyone knew before hand that he would be breaking it off with Melissa or that he is a sleeze who broke up with Melissa on national television because he can't make up his mind.

I think the producers "guide" them along to make good tv. However, I can't help but think how happy the producers were when Jason came to them and said, "I made the wrong choice and I want the other one." I am sure they were extremely happy with this twist and how they could exploit it.

Whether we agree or not with Jason's choice, it made great tv!
