How many of you were just as excited as I was that Uchenna and Joyce won The Amazing Race last night?!? :7

OMG!! My DH and I were glued to our seats the whole two hours!! My
DH actually got goose bumps when they finally came up the walk! They so deserved to win. What a great team they made-encouraging and supporting each other, especially when Joyce had to shave her head in India. So happy to see Rob and Amber lose}( If they'd have won, I'd have been so mad. What a jerk that Rob is. And now I see that CBS is going to broadcast their "wedding". Blecht. Can't wait for Amazing Race 8!

I was on the edge of my chair in my hotel room wondering if Uchenna and Joyce could cough up the $50 before Rob and Amber appeared. Wow! That one was a close call! I'm so happy they won!

Amber & Rob were the favorites from the beginning!

Glad to hear the other couple won. I think I read that they declared bankruptcy just prior to the race so I am sure the $$ will be put to good use!

Uchenna and Joyce definitely deserved it but I was hoping Rob and Amber would win - they really used their heads and, I think, changed the way the game will be played from now on. I'm just glad the other two didn't win - the POW and the beauty contestant. They were so annoying, especially her saying he "got himself out of the army by being a POW"! I would've left her on the side of the road if I were him. Hopefully they'll realize they're horrible together and breakup.

I read (from the above article) that Uchenna once worked for Enron & Joyce worked for WorldCom. They plan to use their earnings for '"bills, bills, bills" and to take the family on their own amazing trip.'

Did anyone else think it was strange that they brought the plane back to the gate so Uchenna and Joyce could get on? I could see if they had actual tickets but they were only on stand by...It kind of seemed rigged to me...not that I'm bitter, it just seemed like they new Rob and Amber would get there way ahead and leave no suspense for the final leg of the race

Also, back in March there was something in the news about how thousands of people were betting in Vegas on Uchenna and Joyce to win, someone apparently leaked some info and they shut down the betting.

I am suspicious of the plane being returned to the gate, too! I suspect it was the producer's intervention to keep the game interesting. U and J and given up begging the gate agent, she shuts them down, then there is a break, then all of a sudden the plane is coming back. Still, an awesome show and I am so glad they won!
