Good morning, Gorgeous Melty Ladies!
I couldn't get to sleep last night (upset again about BIL
still being here and making no effort to find a place of his own), but at least I slept in until almost 7:30. I actually stayed in bed until I heard him leave for work so I could come downstairs in my PJ's, without having to put on regular clothes.
So today was my weekly weigh-in day, and I've put on more weight . . .
again. My body fat has been going down the past couple of weeks, but I really need to reign in the eating. I just don't want to gain back all the weight I worked so hard to lose last fall. Sigh. Sorry to be a broken record, but it's really depressing me.
Today we're going to run some errands and then try to see the new
X-Files movie. Today's opening day, but it's hardly playing in any theatres around here, which is odd.
Peggie -- Your dinner last night sounds yummy . . . esp. those fu@*in pita chips. I think Kara will also be getting in on Thursday afternoon (around 2:00 maybe?). How is Tayler feeling? Any better?
Deb -- We missed you yesterday! Is everything alright? Has work been super busy?
Shelley -- It's sooo good to see you posting a bit more today.
Dark Knight looks good, and I heard that Heath Ledger is really good in it. Naw, I never did find the comfy pants at Costco (I think they may not carry them here), but don't worry about it. Will Sophie be with you this weekend? Hooray for a half day at work!! So yes, what in the world are Zoodles? They sound like something from a Dr. Seuss book!
Shannon -- You're too cute with your smiley allotment! Did yesterday's project at work get finished up alright? Those Kashi bars are really good! What flavor did you get? One of my favorites is the pumpkin . . . I think it has flax in it, too. ETA: Just saw that your new car will be here next week! Woo hoo! How exciting! Do you think you might plan a little road trip one day over the weekend to test it out a bit more?
Breckie Babe -- How fun that "B" shopping trip sounded! I hate grocery shopping, too, and try to whiz through the store as quickly as I can. Now Target is a whole 'nother thing . . . I literally spend ages there! OK, maybe not as much time as Lainie, our resident Target expert, but still ages. Hooray for AC on the van! I hope those doors stay closed as much as possible!
Lainie -- Oh, leave your laptop home and enjoy your wonderful weekend away! Have a wonderful, wonderful time, and get lots of relaxing in! We'll miss you, Love Bug!
Tneah -- Oh, that Kashi Go Lean Crunch is very, very dangerous. Not as dangerous as the pita chips, mind you, but still . . . . I can't keep cereal I like in the house either or I'll gobble it all up in the same way that you do. Oh, but it's just so good!! Oh, I forgot to mention that I ordered some of the Obagi eye serum you recommended and it came yesterday, so I used it for the first time then. I'm hoping it'll help get rid of some of those nasty fine lines under my eyes! The SV regimen is so wonderful, too, and I can tell that it's making a difference! My skin looks soooo much better than it had! Thank you!! So is DH still leaving for SLC tomorrow? Oh -- I just read that you're leaving for Vegas tomorrow! Oh, I'm going to miss you, babe!! I was soooo looking forward to getting together this coming week.
And don't worry about our trip to SD Fit -- we'll do it when you get back in town, OK? How exciting that the new boat will be here so soon! I thought it would be awhile before you made the transfer. How are you feeling about that? Are you getting more used to the idea of living on it? Hope so! {{{HUGS}}}!
Kara -- How did the pool go yesterday? Did the kids have fun? Hope so!
All this food talk is making me hungry, and I just ate breakfast!
I'll BBL to check in! Love you all!! Happy Friday!!
