Tell me why/if I need STS

I'd buy it right now if it wasn't gonna cost me over fifty bucks for shipping. You guys in the States are so lucky to have free shipping for this! Don't get why shipping has to be so expensive for those of us not in the USA. :(

I just ordered it, I couldn't believe the price! I was supposed to get with some birthday money last October, but that didn't work out, and now I'm glad it didn't because this price is incredible! I can't wait to start, I'm going to get busy this week to finish my 1-rep maximums.

mjd, where are you located?

perhaps one of us could get it shipped to our home and forward it on to you for much cheaper?

I agree, it's a shame for those who live outside of the U.S.

So for me, I would see the savings as getting free shipping, but I can justify about any expense ;)

I'm so glad someone started this thread. I just ordered it and I ordered the new Intensity dvd and got it for almost free, plus free shipping. I'm so excited. This is a great deal.

Alas I feel victim to the great price too. I just placed my order!!! I'm sooooo flippin' excited! I was planning on ordering STS as a birthday present to myself in May, but the entire 36 disc program PLUS ab circuits all for $140?!?!?! WOW! NO WAY I was letting that sweet deal slip through my fingers. :D Now I just have to wait until May...maybe....

So let me ask you all something, I was on amazon and someone commented about how they didn't feel it was a great deal because the excerises are the same ones she does in her other dvd's (this was when it cost $300 by the way)

How do you all feel about that? Do you think it's redundant or is STS done in a different way that it doesn't make a difference? Do you feel like you got your money's worth?

When I was that it was on sale, I thought to myself that this is a great price considering how much it normally is that is why I haven't bought it yet.

Have to wait for Friday though payday!

Unfortunately, international shipping costs are very high.:( I've sold a few things on eBay internationally and the cost to ship a medium size box cost close to $50 with insurance.

changing our brains AND our bodies w/ STS

Agree with all the positive comments about STS stated above...

Have to also chime in that STS helps in another way too --- it relates to how we learn and create new habits (...I'm in the Corporate training and development 'world'...)

To create a new habit we have to develop a new neural pathway in the brain---kind of like a well-worn bike path that is easy to follow, easy to get on and stay on... New neural pathways are created with repetition, consistent practice and ongoing focus.

STS is a program that has helped me be more consistent.

While some of the programs are repeats (especially in STS 3) it's the habit and pathway we create by following it, and being consistent, that helps us the most.

For me -even when I "fall off the path" cause let's face it 'life-can-just-get-in-the-way' sometimes----because I created such a strong habit in the past, by using STS, it is MUCH easier for me to 'find the groove again and get back on the fitness path again' when I've gotten off.

STS gives us a permanent fitness groove and habit---physically changing the neural pathways in our brain, as well as how our bodies look and feel (if we're consistent) making it easier to get back on track.

I love STS and agree if you are are serious about getting into and staying into the 'fitness groove' -STS is a PERFECT way to do it.
You learn to love (well I kind of now at least like) push-ups! I also love feeling strong and fit---STS shows me how that feels and calls me back to it when I 'stray'....

Forgive the long and rambling post --- but have cabin fever---I am in Atlanta and we are iced in----roads impassable... day 2.

All the best,
Suzie

There are only so many types of exercises you can do with dumbells and barbells, but the method that she uses is different. A month of endurance, a month of Hypotrophy and a month of strength.

Honestly, I have no idea how much I paid for it because I bought it pre-ordered. But I definitely consider it money well spent - IF you have the money to spare. If you don't, then you could get by without it.

I originally pre-ordered STS but cancelled due to a back injury. Three years later, my back is almost normal and I've been really wishing I had Mesos 1 & 2. Well, for $140, I just ordered all three. Don't know if I'll be able to use #3, but at that price, who cares?

Also, thanks to the person who suggested putting in another DVD to get additional savings. I got Ab Circuits for free! So cool!

The price is really tempting but I have another question. I have a barbell that goes up to 35lbs and dumbells that go up to 25lbs. I've no intention of buying any new equipment as I have neither the space nor the money. Is it worth it for me? I'm perfectly happy squatting with the 35lbs and can bench press it as well.

Thanks!

This is a MUCH better deal than the preorder! We paid $208.94 for the whole package, including shipping fees. It is an amazing series, but makes me kinda wonder about preordering now? Maybe I should wait for the sale......

The sale price is great, but there is no way I could have waited 2 years for this to go on sale!
