Tank Top Rotation longer than 6wks??

RE: One more question, Marlene

I'm guessing you're a mesomorph. Just like Cathe, you lucky gal. I have to lift quite heavy to see a difference. But anyway, I wanted to ask you if have "played around" with the order of the PS upper body parts. I usually do PS CST first and then BBA, just because I'm sort of lazy (?). And I kind of like that "layering on effect" that Cathe planned when she created it. But I'm wondering if maybe hitting chest and back first would be wise because they are only worked 2X's per week. In fact I thought about separating PS, doing Shoulder/Bi/Tri's on day one, then, PS Chest and Back and just doing them on day 2 with a little cardio. Since you've been on this rotation longer than the rest of us, maybe you've had time to switch the order. Any thoughts?

RE: One more answer from Marlene

When I do the Pure Strength upper body I do this sequence:

Chest, Back, Shoulders, Bis and Tris.

I have read in several places that if working several body parts you should start with the largest and strongest and work from that. You could put back in before chest I suppose. I like chest first because I want to get those pushups done and over with at the beginning. Even though I can do them all with my feet elevated like Cathe, I still hate them.

However, nothing is written in stone. If you enjoy doing the upper body in a different order, why not? Do what feels best for you. The Pure Strength series is superb no matter how you get it done. If you break it up in two separate days, that is okay too. I think we all need to do what we like because if you forced yourself to do it in the order I do, perhaps you won't like it enough to stick with it. Sometimes I break MIS into two different days because that workout kicks my butt each and every time. When I have given my all to the legs, chest and back sometimes I am too pooped to go on. I save it for the next day when I can start off strong.

I hope this helps.
